Lindsay Lohan got nippy yesterday, in the middle of a heat wave no less.

With her alleged enabling guy pal Patrick Aufdenkamp standing in for Samantha, the buxom 22-year-old went braless while shopping on Melrose in a sheer black tank.

Not wearing panties is so 2006.

Not wearing a bra won't make your breasts sag. There is NO medical or aesthetic reason to wear a bra. Age and breastfeeding will make your breasts sag but a bra will not slow down or prevent that sagging. The only thing a bra can help with is holding UP the breasts AFTER they have begun to sag. Look it up people.

And as for another thing, why should she have to wear a bra if she doesn't want to? Women used to wear corsets before bras were invented... it didn't mean they HAD to.

In a conversation with Dr. Gregory Heigh and Dr. Claire Heigh, they stated that they…

"…have found that going bra-free can actually cause breasts to sag less. Bras can cause breasts to sag because chest muscles are worked less when breasts are supported and confined in a bra. Over time, these muscles and also ligaments can atrophy (shrink in size) because of lack of use." It is basically a matter of "Use it or lose it. When the chest muscles and breast ligaments have to bear the weight of the breasts, muscle tone returns."
