"Austin Powers" Star Charged in Gang Rape

Joe Son TMZ has learned the actor who played Random Task in the first "Austin Powers" movie has been charged with a vicious gang rape.

Joe Son's arrest has been all over newspapers in the O.C., but no one connected the dots -- that the suspect is actually Dr. Evil's henchman -- until now.

Here's how it all went down. Son pleaded guilty back in May to felony vandalism. The plea required him to fork over a DNA sample. Investigators ran his sample and found Son's DNA connected him to an unsolved gang rape back in 1990, where a woman was pistol-whipped, raped, threatened with death and eventually blindfolded and released naked.

Son has been charged with five felony counts of rape, two felony counts of forcible sodomy, two felony counts of sodomy in concert by force, seven felony counts of forcible oral copulation, and one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object by force.

Son faces a maximum sentence of 275 years to life if convicted.

48. LOL@ OJ being framed. Yes, his wife, who he had abused repeatedly per police response records, who he'd threatened to kill, was murdered and the blood taken to OJ's house to frame him. That's sooooo much more likely than this: OJ killed his estranged wife and tracked blood home with him. Hmmm....which is more likely?

57. This sickens me and I hope he is found guilty on all counts and gets the maximum. This woman's life has been destroyed and she will forever be challenged with moving forward. It's a shame this has taken so long to come to light; that no one, not the victim's family or any one else associated with this travesty did not make the movie connection until now. I hope and pray she will recover from her ordeal and trust the world in which she lives.

58. Amazing that an 18 year old case could finally have some small measure of resolution. I'm sure it's far too little, too late for the poor woman who was victimized all those years ago, but there is always the possibility that he could try to get his sentence lowered by ratting out some of the others involved. (Though 275 years is a lot to whittle down.) With a crime like that, he deserves to be in for life, regardless of the information he passes on.

This is not a political thread, so why so much talk about presidential candidates and terrorism? Please stick to the topic.

59. I really don't care about this guy but a lot of comments are negatively calling for this man to fry! We don't even know the particulars of what happened. It's amazing how the media publishes something and all of a sudden it's Gospel, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
