Christie Wanted Kids Kept from Porny Pete

Christie BrinkleyChristie Brinkley asked for, but was denied, a restraining order against ex-hubby Peter Cook -- and we're hearing it has to do with Pete's infamous "20/20" interview.

Sources tell us CB's lawyers tried to get the TRO for this weekend because it's Pete's turn to see their two kids. In the "20/20" interview with Barbara Walters that airs Friday, Pete supposedly blames Christie for their marital problems -- and we're told Christie doesn't want the kids to see the show. Can ya blame her?

The TRO for this weekend didn't fly in court, and a hearing was scheduled for the end of the month.

31. Christie Brinkley, I don't get you. You are clearly one mad as hell woman. You had absolutely no problem broadcasting all of the disgusting, intimate details of your husbands extramarital affair, but now you want him to keep him from his children because your PRIMARY concern is their welfare. PLEASE! This has never been about your children, it has always been about how mad you are and the fact that you will not let this go until you feel some sort of sick vindication. The two of you should have stayed together, you both deserve each other. WOW, you are something else. It really appears to me that the children would be better off with him, at least until you release some of your anger.

There both a mess.......Christie f..ed over Billie and was looking for the picture in the frme........Are we really supposed to beleive she is Mother Teresa........Please Peter is the father of her kids..she is going to have to Co-parent with him like it or not just like the rest of us humans that cannot stand our exes!!!!!!!!!!

35. Geeze, People! Christie tried to use discussing her side openly in court as a TATIC to get him to settle thus avoiding the whole thing. That was in a court of law during a custody battle. She was trying to get primary custody of her children.

Peter, however, is doing an interview with Barbara Waqlters, probably for money, for no ohter reason than he wants to do so I guess to clear his name. He should just work on his relationship with his children and then lead a good life. THAT would turn his reputation around in a dignified, meaningful way.
