How Little Is That Deuce Coupe?

"Beach Boys" legend Brian Wilson paced himself yesterday in the Beverly Glen shopping complex after what appears to have been a very full meal.

The 66-year-old musical genius appeared a bit disheveled as he wandered the parking lot in search of his car.

Help him, Rhonda -- please!

31. I don't know his diagnosis, but most of the meds for bipolar/psychotic/schizoid cause a lot of weight gain, no matter what. They have even been found to be the cause of diabetes in many patients. It's a trade off-do you want to stop the voices in your head (or whatever demon you're fighting), or do you want to get fat?

I think he spent a lot of time wandering in the wilderness, and now he may have chosen the fat and the diabetes and a shortened life expectancy.

Maybe in LA that was the wrong choice.

34. Okay people get this straight, Wether you cared for the Beach Bor not, Brian Wilson is an incredible talent who has contributed and held his own in public for the last 20 years or so. It is a shame that a man whom is suffering from a disease called tardive dyskinesia. It is his fault to a degree, but it is primarily the fault of mistreatment by given anti psychotic drugs in unacceptable high doses due to the time in which he suffered the most. As modern understaning of psycological illness, he was unfortunately and unaware the meds to treatment hurt him more. The close bonded relationships that bring him touring across America are a blessing in his not-so-at-fault reality. He was given severly damaging drugs from pschiatrists with no diagnosis for 2 years. Haldol,Xanax, Resperidol.................. they caused his disease as he sought help for his mental pain. We were simply not where we are ttoday in diagnosing and treating successful productive people every day,

He is an interesting man with a mythical pull to my halcyion summer days of youth and the water. Maybe when all is said at the end of the day his mind he will know some people really understood him and he is cherised for that.

Shame on TMZ for capitalizing on his illness, and further more to his managers and freinds for putting him in that spot. The Promotioal tickets/photos for this years upcoming dates have made sure to have him looking fabulous and happy.....................

I am hoping maybe someone inside his suppport of loving people, no one will leave him to wander and be vulturized by TMZ.nor anyone else. Help him with compassion, let him bring our sould to melodic heights by his lyrics and music..................... Genius whom could use a little more support

37. DO NOT make fun of this man, TMZ. We've all known for many years now that Brian has a few issues. But the man is a musical genius and contributed significantly to the musical arts. Don't bust his balls, please.

40. I read TMZ everyday, several times a day and love the site. However, Brian Wilson should be off limits. He is a genius. Picking on him is not fair, nice or even relevant. Keep commenting on the celebs that desire the focus and leave the true legends alone.

44. This man has never made any excuses or put blame on others. This in a town where when some idiot sneezes they start pointing fingers. This guy has been to hell and back and survived. God bless you Brian.

45. Hey #35...he hasn't abused drugs in years. No excuse, but he did so to self-medicate his mental illness. He's getting the proper care he needs and is doing the best emotionally and creatively as he's been in decades.

Hey TMZ...why not go make fun of a homeless mentally ill guy and how he can't find any food. It's right on par with your class of "reporting."

I pray to God advertisers read user comments here.
