The Rich Life!
Vanessa Hudgens Buys Mansion Fit for a Teen

For those of you sick of hearing about Disney teen stars buying multi-million dollar homes during a major financial crisis -- just stop reading.

Vanessa Hudgens, 19, just sang and danced her way into a $2.75 million home in Studio City, CA. Zac Efron can now visit Hudgens unchaperoned in her six bedroom, 6.5 bath, 5,200 sq. ft. home -- which includes a pool, spa and a "barbeque island," according to the L.A. Times.

Also on part of Vanessa's new digs -- a wine cellar -- which, of course, she won't use till she turns 21. Because that would be illegal.

16. Good for her. Some people have a drive for sucess and do whatever it takes. Hopefully she invests wisely as she won't get by on her looks forever.

Yes, she is willing to do whatever it takes for fame and fortune...she'd even do porn movies. I can totally see her spread eagal sucking on a dildo. girl always has that perverted smirk on her face

17. a teenager that can afford to buy any home usually has money from mommy and daddy. but unfortunately, vanessa hudgens will probably lose that house within a few years. i mean we've already seen her naked, so she doesn't have any "i'm desperate" moves left that could save her.

18. Vanessa is a beautiful talented girl and I wish her the best. But for now, I just don't believe this story, even if it is in the L.A. Times. BFD.

19. T.J.,
Exactly what constitutes a "Real Job." She has a "real job". You sound bitter and jealous. She gets paid well for a JOB that she she enjoys doing. I usually don't comment on stories that I read here, but I can't believe how rude all of the comment have been. She is a talented young girl who was able to buy a home. Good for her!

20. WTF does a 19 yr old need a 6 br house with a wine celler? Geez got a little money and gotta go all out. Yea, it's nice she's able to buy her own house at that age, but come on, you gotta admit that is a little over the top. I sure hope she has a lot of projects lined up unless of course HSM 4, 5 and 6 are in the works. But then of course she could get knocked up soon and have Zac Efron as insurance. At least he's got grown up movies coming out soon and will be able to shed that Disney image. Gosh, this chick is so overrated!

22. TO KYLIE:

I understand exactly what TJ is saying. Here I am married with a kid and my wife and I both work 40 + hours every week just to make ends meet. I don't constitute acting a real job. Sure, it's fun and nioe but when you work on a computer answering phones all day from customers who aren't happy about something, you look at acting like not a job. They work for a month or two then they have 3 to 6 months off. Sit back and rake in their millions... c'mon!

23. And what is she doing to help others in need??????

Moreover, does she even realize that she will have to come up with aprrox. $500,000.00 each year to pay the property taxes alone?

Add to that pool maintenance, gardners, cleaning services etc

She'd better be able to count on a huge paycheck for the rest of her life.

24. At least it's dollars going into a house instead of white powder.

Too many young stars burn through their money foolishly.

25. I totally agree with Freebird #22! Yes, we love going to the movies, buying CDs and all sorts of entertainments, but you gotta admit most entertainers are so overpayed even when their acting skills or movies suck at the box office. Some actors get paid more than $30 mil for 1 movie. INSANE! They are ENTERTAINERS. You act like a diva, you're catered to. Let's not forget if they don't want to work they can pass up a movie deal if the role doesn't fit or if they just wanna vacation in Hawaii. And let's also not forget about athletes such as baseball players. They work 5 months out of the year and get paid millions. How about paying teachers an extra $25,000 when even 90% of their children pass to the next grade. How about paying an extra $50,000 for the police officer when he collars a murderer or drug dealer, etc. off the streets. How about paying an extra $100,000 for the firefighter who runs in and rescues a family from a burning building risking his own life instead of using a stunt double. Entertainers can pick and choose what they want to work on. Regular people with "real jobs" HAVE to work every day with maybe 2-3 weeks vacation a year. If you use up say 20 days out the year at an office there are no more days therefore you don't get paid. Now that's work! You act like a Diva or have a tantrum when there isn't Pierrie (ph) water on your desk in an office and you'll get a warning or worse....fired!

26. I can dream that obama will remove all those special tax laws that allow these elitists to hid their income from the "ordinary income" status on their tax return. Warren Buffet for one has been ever so successful in doing just that. These super rich hollywood trash has been hiding their income by trusts and other tax dodges staying out of the "ordinary income" status we are all stuck in.Now we have these (stars?) hiding income in houses they don't need while preaching to the rest of that we need to do without. the tax code could also be amended as well to prevent these phony people from declaring bankruptcy and still keeping there mansions like Burt Reynolds did. But, never fear obama will protect his own set elitists.

28. ROFL, look at all the sad losers bashing Vanessa...What? your lives are so pathetic that you have to bash a 19 year old girl?

Ohh I get it, it must be hard looking at this teen who made more money then most of you will ever make in your sad lives. Its a lot easier to bash her then to look at yourselves and the half-ass choices you people made in life.....You think only real people have 40+ hours work week, that real people with jobs can't wisely invest, save and grow their money so that they don't have to slave all week.....no only real people overwork themselves

you want teachers and police to get made more? easy, raise taxes

And your right, we should go tell the studios executives how much they should pay their actors, because we are so much better at running a billion dollar film studio....STFU....until you are in the seat of a major studio, you have no idea how much a actor should and shouldn't get paid..."this actor brought in a Billion dollars worldwide with his last film but we should only pay him 40 thousands because that's what "real" people with jobs make"

if you came here to bash a teen girl on how much money she spend on a house, your life or who you are suck, plain and simple

29. Pretty sad in America how you can work your whole life and still only just manage to pay the rent on your one-bedroom crap apartment, and then there is this ho.
