62. People like Lair are unbelievably dangerous to this country. You learned your democatic math well.

What you described as far as rich people paying more taxes is exactly what happens with a flat tax rate. If I make a million and you make twenty thousand in income, at a 10% tax rate I pay a hundred thousand in tax and you pay two thousand. THAT IS FAIR. What happens today is that I pay $300,000 in tax and you pay NOTHING. What in the world is fair about that?

It would be like going to the grccery and having different prices for bread based on your income.

Economics is a fairly simple science...Look at your paycheck each week. Most people collect their pay from a company (many of them small businesses), NOT government. If the government enacts tax policies that take more and more and more money from companies or the people who own them, who do you think that hurts? The owners? To some degree it does but it hurts the guy collecting the paycheck MUCH more because the first thing companies do is cut jobs to maintain profitability.

What Obama and most democrats want is that more and more people get their sustenance from the government so that people will have to vote them into office time and time again. It is called socialism and it NEVER works in the long run. Ask the USSR, Cuba, France etc how well it works.

I don't care for Palin or her policies, but why is it necessary to objectify any woman who happens to be successful or powerful? Everyone including the news reports, movie stars, and singers particular Madonna, it's embarrassing the way they are acting. No one has ever treated anyone else running for a public office this way. The Obama Campaign even paid more than $800,000 to an ACORN affiliate for "get out the vote activity." And now we find out that ACORN is suspected of voter registration fraud.
