First off, I wanted to say that I believe in Game Advertising is a critical component in the advancement of gaming. With the increasing costs of game development, inclusion of celebrate actors, Microsoft/Sony franchise Fees, etc, this is a very lucrative way of being supplement costs.

That all being said, I think there is a line. Political Campaign advertisements in games is a bit too far. With a completely divided nation over the election, I feel it was in VERY poor taste to take this type of advertising on. I went out to my local GameStop and sold my copy of this title back after I had zero interest in seeing Obama's head in a gaming title I purchased. The entire gaming community is more than happy to see Coca Cola or Pepsi logos on vending machines versus generic Soda Pop. I am sure if you put up signs in the game for the Catholic Church, Abortion Rights, etc. I would also classify these as inappropriate for video games.

This may be hard to understand, but I spend my times with video games to escape my nine-to-five job doing Corporate Enterprise Software Sales. It is fun planning some game and getting away from all the bombardment of politics, the economy, the war, etc. These types of advertisements will be the downfall of gaming.

If you were to tell me that if I bought a game and would have to see Obama advertisements, I would DEFINITELY not buy the game. I feel that EA should disclose the use of political advertising BEFORE someone spends $60 on a video game.

20. I find some of the post on here really scary. The McCain campaign has been proven more often than not to be a joke and the only leg half of you dimwits have to stand on is that Obama is inexperienced or (gasp) his middle name is Hussein! The world is watching and this country's true ugliness is coming out yet again.

How much more inexperienced is that liar Palin?? She's blatantly lied to the public and to add insult to injury has been a part in the stirring up of racial tension in this country yet again. I'm ashamed to call myself an American. I'm so hopeful Sen. Obama wins so as to give this country something to be proud of again.

If you want to elect someone into office just because he looks like you, then you've missed the point of all of the work our government and the citizens of this country have been working toward for the past 100 years or so. Give it a rest and keep your ignorant comments at your Klan rallies.

You are absolutely correct. Hitler was VOTED chancellor of Germany in the desperation of the country after the crushing poverty following World War One. He was also talking about "change" and "restoring" the dignity of the German nation. He was also one of the founders of the National SSOCIALIST Party, socialism being the choice of extremist political parties Obama seems headed toward. "Spread the wealth" sound familiar? Okay, I'll admit comparing Obama to Hitler is the farthest stretch imaginable, but So Sick is absoluetely correct in the historic sense. Hitler was ELECTED out of desperation and we would be wise to heed the lesson of history.

26. Like any of the idiots playing x-box games have even bothered to register to vote or are even of age to vote. Between the media bias, the obvious voter fraud going on, the questionable characters Obama calls his friends and mentors, it definitely proves to me that if Adolph Hitler were a Democrat and running for office, things wouldn't be any different and the hate America first crowd would be backing him all the way, x-box and all. McCain sucks but at least he puts America first.
