"Desperate Housewives" in Critical Condition

We've learned Gale Harold, the actor who plays Teri Hatcher's boyfriend on "Desperate Housewives," was seriously injured yesterday in a motorcycle accident. And, contrary to what Harold's rep says, a hospital spokesperson just told us the actor is in "critical condition."
Gale Harold
He's being treated at the L.A. County - USC Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit. We're told his shoulder was screwed up. Harold's rep just issued a statement saying his shoulder was fractured and he's in "stable condition," despite what the hospital rep said. And the slightly ominous words from his rep -- "Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery."

"D.H." creator Marc Cherry says Harold has swelling of the brain but is expected to recover.

BTW, Harold also starred in "Queer as Folk."

36. All these anti-motorcycle comments make me laugh. Don't begrudge him because you're afraid of your own shadow.

40. Yo Tardo, or should i say retardo, judge lest ye be judged.
I've been riding motorcycles now for 13 years. Not all of us are idiots. Some of us actually know what we are doing. Also, perhaps we should examine why drivers of cars are not more conscious of motorcycles on the road.

41. Edward, it isn't about being "afraid of your own shadow", it's about love and consideration for my family and friends if I go out and kill myself on a motorcycle. I'll be dead, but my children, spouse, mother, father, etc, will have to pick up the pieces. It's about being smart and caring for others, not about being scared. DUMMY! Too bad you don't care about yourself or your family. If that is the case, then by all means ride off into the sunset.

42. shoefiend-by your post, it reads as though you have hit your head on a curb too many times with out a helmet. I'd suggest giving up the motorcycles and go back for a good old fashion education-stupid. Oh, and don't forget, "YO".

43. Ride to live live to Ride
there is truly nothing like riding a motorcycle for all of us who do regardless of people who oppose it
for those who oppose it don't knock it till you have tried it...
you could get injured walking across the street...or die... life
is short have some fun while you still can because one day will come
and you might regret not trying it..among other things...

44. RE: Tardo
Obvviously the name fits you well. Motorcycle accidents are usually caused by the other person and not the motorcyclist.
Speedy recovery wishes to Mr. Harold
