"Desperate Housewives" in Critical Condition

We've learned Gale Harold, the actor who plays Teri Hatcher's boyfriend on "Desperate Housewives," was seriously injured yesterday in a motorcycle accident. And, contrary to what Harold's rep says, a hospital spokesperson just told us the actor is in "critical condition."

He's being treated at the L.A. County - USC Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit. We're told his shoulder was screwed up. Harold's rep just issued a statement saying his shoulder was fractured and he's in "stable condition," despite what the hospital rep said. And the slightly ominous words from his rep -- "Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery."

"D.H." creator Marc Cherry says Harold has swelling of the brain but is expected to recover.

BTW, Harold also starred in "Queer as Folk."

47. Tardo, you're an idiot!! I bet you don't drive well either. Sounds to me like you're too lazy to learn anything new or even consider other people don't care what YOU PERSONALLY would do. It's all just a smoke screen anyway to wave you away from what should really matter. Like, NOT offering your PERSONAL opinion. Same for me but I wanted to let YOU know what I think of you're opinion and that makes me just as bad.

I have an idea. Maybe you should stay in the house and never leave. This way, you'll never assume any risk for any of lifes little pleasures. I mean God forbid you should ride in a car where thousands of accidents happen everyday. Oh...and don't walk downstairs. Do you know how many people fall and get seriously injured. I take it you didn't get the 'most fun to be around" award in school.

52. It probably should be part of an actor's contract that they don't engage in risky behavior and/or drive motorcycles. My ex-husband was in a motorcycle accident and immediately became a quadraplegic. Now someone has to feed him, dress him, change his diapers, etc., every day for the rest of his life. So consider instead of dying in a motorcyle accident, you could end up a quad for the rest of your life. I know he wished he had died in the accident but is living like this instead.

54. TARDO You are cruel. To say someone deserves to be hurt, is just horrible. The guy is an actor & not the guy he plays on TV, so I hope that he gets better & recovers. I agree that bikes are dangerous, but there will always be young guys that drive bikes.
It's the jerks in the cars & SUV's that I worry about. Half of them are on the phone & pay no attention to their driving.
Keep you eyes on the road & stop blabbering & eating on the road! Thats why most accidents happen.

I have driven a motorcycle for 20 years, have never had an accident it's just dumb asses like you that cause motorcycle accidents, by not being able to drive a vehicle on 4 wheels,. Hey-grow a pair, if you can't, I'll lend you mine. Your momma ahould be ashamed for raising such a WUSS.
