Also, the flamers and the trolls and the haters. The people slagging Madonna are, much like all the vehement little busybodies on the web, as ugly and twisted as their words suggest. These are people who, in the real world, are riddled with insecurities, the ones who wouldn't say boo to a goose, who have failed to make their mark, of any kind, on society. Whose only recourse is to lash out.

People like Mrs Grossman: away from the anonymity, the crutch, of the Internet, you are introverted, unassuming and totally forgettable. And you know it.
