B.J. to Palin: You Give My Music a Bad Name

Jon Bon Jovi just gave us a statement, bitterly complaining that Sarah Palin has been using the band's song during her rallies yesterday and today:

"We are surprised to hear that our song, "Who Says You Can't Go Home" was used by the McCain campaign at rallies yesterday and today. We wrote this song as a thank you to those who have supported us over the past twenty-five years. The song has since become a banner for our home state of New Jersey and the defacto theme song for our partnerships around the country to build homes and rebuild communities. Although we were not asked, we do not approve of their use of 'Home.'"

Jon Bon Jovi threw a dinner at his home for Obama -- $30,800 a plate. Bon Jovi is the latest to complain about McCain's campaign using songs. Heart, Foo Fighters, John Mellencamp and Jackson Browne have also griped.

76. According to MTV, The Republican Party did in fact obtain the necessary license to use the song, which can be played when a venue pays a blanket fee to ASCAP, the organization that protects music copyrights. "

77. I had some respect for Bon JON WHATEVER: no better than MADONN-OLD announcing that Sara Palin was not welcome at her concert. Get over yourselves and use your barely taxed millions to help OBAMA pay for his medical records and education records so we can all get a peek at them. All his money is tied up elsewhere right now.
Nov. 4th can not come soon enough.

+++++++++++++++

In other words, you cannot trust a word from the mouths of these sleazy, publicity whoring LIARS Bon Jovi or any of them. Jon Bon Jovi is so nasty. He's just a "POSER", like my metal-head friends always said he was!!

84. 55. 12. All this cry babying over their music being used by McCain/Palin, but no one is talking about how Obama has yet to prove he is a natural born US citizen as the Constitution states he must be to run for president. Why won't he provide his birth certificate and medical records? What is he hiding? He has been ordered by a judge to provide this information and still refuses.
But instead we're talking about how Sarah Palin likes to hunt, just like millions of other American citizens.
No wonder this country is in the state it is.

86. I am a HUGE Bon Jovi fan, but i am so discusted by all this. Seriously? Get a life, your a wonderful musician, man, and father but please stay out of politics and who cares who plays your music? Is it against the law? This is a free worl and wether you are voting for Obama or Mcain you have no right to tell people what music to play. Do you not live in a comfy mansion because of your fans and the music they buy? Do you think all your fans are democrats? They are not, so get over it Jon!!!!!!!!

a pissed off fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

87. Don't you know why Repubs are using rock songs? They are trying to get young people to vote for them. The only young people who will vote for them are the Christian right and Confederate rednecks. It's just another political desperation move. I predict an Obama landslide.

88. What does it really matter. the more fuss Bon Jovi makes, the more the real people of America (non-Hollywood) agree with McCain. What do "stars" not get. We don't live their lifestyle. we are your core. Obama is for Hollywood.

if its a landslide then we know obamas plan for ACORNS voter fraud worked.
BTW--I am a black repub that lives in harlem and believe in voting for someone based on what the candidate supports ---not the medias view.
