Dodger Fans Beer Batter Cops During Game 5

One rowdy baseball fan was bleeding a hell of a lot more than Dodger Blue Wednesday night, when two cops opened a can of whoop-ass after being drenched in a beer-throwing incident -- and it was all caught on tape.

Here's how it went down: During the final game of the N.L.C.S., a guy in the stands was wearing a S.F. Giants hat and got it ripped off his head (allegedly by a guy dressed up like Manny Ramirez). Rowdiness ensued and the cops -- LAPD uniformed officers who were off duty and working for the Dodgers -- responded.

As the cops confronted the dreadlocked perp, some moron threw a full cup of beer at the officers leaving them soaking wet. When the cops turned to find the beer-thrower, another moron from a different section heaved more beer at the cops.

That's when the uniformed cops decided to enforce the anti-moron law -- grabbing the man they believe threw the second beer and dragging him down the concrete stairs. The tape stops, and by the time the shooter hit record again, back-ups were there.

An LAPD spokesman reiterated the officers were off duty and no one reported the incident to the Department. No immediate comment from the Dodgers.

33. All the better that the Phillies are headed to the Series and the Dodger fans (boo-hoo) won't see their god-like Manny Ramirez make an appearance. Have fun watching the series.... FROM HOME. Go Phillies!!

36. To anyone who says that it's no big deal and that the cop overreacted, I hope someone dumps a beer on your head next time you attend a baseball game - I'm sure you'll just laugh and go on your merry way, won't you? No one should have to tolerate that - it's an assault, plain and simple. Too bad that slob didn't throw his beer on a fellow neanderthal, who would have proceeded to give him the beating he deserved....

38. These so called Dodger fans are an embarassment to true bue fans. I now live in the bay area but still defend the Dodgers. These punks acted like the Giants fans when Dodgers play here.
Instead of drinking and slinging beer these yo yo's should try running some laps up/down those stadium stairs to get into some type of decent looking shape...if they can.

40. Too many gang members at dodgers stadium, that's why i dont go there as much ( and i will only go if i'm seating on the "good" seats and safe) every time i go there i feel unsafe and i feel like there's not enough security around, they should have more cops in the stadium...and if u r in the parking lot, that's even worst, good luck trying to find help if u need...i dont care what team u r rotting for, you should feel safe at all times. it's a baseball game, u r there to rote for ur team and enjoy the day and not to feel threaten because u r wearing another teams hat...The Dodgers must clean up their Stadium from all the low lives that ruin everyone's good times. aba

42. It's too bad the dodgers are filled with idiots. Thank God we have the LAPD there to protect the people that care to watch the game and take the little ones to enjoy a good American Pass time. The cops should NEVER have to take any crap from anyone. GO LAPD and DODGER BLUE!!!!!

44. Nice try. They did not punch him on the face after they dragged him off. I know, because I was filming too. I just did not turn my tape in. The Manny guy did come back out of costum, as he was too afraid to get caught. He ran the first chance he had. It was one of his posse that threw the beer the first time. As to the guy crying, yeah right. You are a LIAR trying to get traffic to your dumbass site. You are right though. You should of had a camera to back you your lies, but since you are not being honest, you know damn well you would not have a tape of anything. Get a clue and realize there were about 20 cameras on this guy. When he is ready to sue, if he is that stupid. I am sure there will be assault charges filed against him for assulting the cops.

45. Listen man you didnt go down stairs where they took him out . You stayed in the stands like a little scared b***h! Let me guess you are probably a white boy defending the law! Look I have nothing against the police but when I witness that with my own eyes like alout of people did down stairs by the exits. man this S**T is for real!!! So stop trying to cover what really happened and nobody got arrested. They came back to their seats. If anyone was there like me please respond to this ahole right here. I'm totally being honest.
