McCain to Dave -- Yep, I Screwed You

Not since the Hanoi Hilton days has John McCain been subjected to an interrogation like the one David Letterman gave him last night....for canceling on the D man last month.

46. I like McCain, he seems like a good man, I am voting for Obama though.

Democrats are just better people, more about the average family than the big business.

The charity is for people who need help, not necessarily for people who don't want to work, I think we should all feel proud to contribute, and all of us might need help one day, you never know.

Obama's medical plan is better than McCain's

47. The country falling over a smooth takikng pretty boy.

My elderly mother had a saying in her day,

"The world loves its own"

48. Who says that people who make less than $250,000 are lazy and don't work? What the hell are you ignorant people talking about? You want to just keeping getting richer while everyone else gets their taxes raised? As I keep hearing, the back bone of this country is the small businesses and most of them don't make $250,000 or more! So again I ask, who says people who make less than $250,000 are lazy and don't work?

49. Lately as I watch television, which has been a lot between the debates and the pennant race I see Obama commercials 50 to 1 to McCain commercials. The majority of these commercials are Obama talking to the camera about his website and how bad the last eight years have been.

I sure hope that, since the polls have him as the winner, I see him on the television giving me updates on all his progress. I'm tired of all this we didn't know our economy was dying but I know I can fix it crap from all the politicians. I also want consequences and that will have to include Dodd and Frank. If he doesn't at least give them a verbal smack down then he probably won't make it as a two term president.

50. McCain History of Fighting for America.
Osama Failed Chicago Program.

Why would any person choose Obama? Do you like giving your hard earned money to the government to "redistribute the wealth". Do you want your radio and television programs to be controlled by the government ( Fairness Doctrine )? Are you at all aware of the corrupt people he has ties to (Ayers)? Are you aware of the massive voter fraud that is being paid for by Democrats this year ( ACORN, IT"S BEEN PROVEN ). Are you aware of Obamas donor fraud? http://www.newser.com/story/39222/obama-ordered-to-return-illegal-donations.html

Are you voting for him because he is black? Actually, President Lincoln, a not attractive white man, is the person who has done the most for black people. And it was white people who went to war against their own country men to end slavery. Regardless of any brainwashing, there are good and bad people in all cultures,

Are you voting for him because he is a handsome and articulate Harvard Grad? I would feel much better if we could put him in public relations rather than the oval office.

If you only look up one thing.......look up socialism, Are you really that unhappy that you would take away American Freedoms. Obama would be at the helm of a Democratic House majority, Obama does not seem all that bad, for some reason the Democrats want to propel him into the position of President......Why? Is it because he is easily manipulated and will owe them many favors?

I do not think we should attack each other. I am open to a healthy debate. Let us hold our Country High and speak civily to each other. The last thing we need is Americans killing Americans. Lets build our country back to the majesty and liberty she once was.

51. The CEO's who can walk away with millions while their employees lose their jobs are the ones who need to be stopped. That is pure greed and abuse of power. Which candidate can stop that, or how do we start a bill in congress? Any thoughts out there? Also I would respect Obama more if he had redistributed the wealth of funds he collected by donors back to the people. That would have been a cool move that could have made me trust his words,

52. These comments are just TOO funny. I'm an Obama supporter, I believe in him and so do many others. Obama supporters are PASSIONATE about him, and if Repulbicans would just open themselves and educate themselves, they might get a better understanding as of to why so many people are backing him. Not only celebrities, "lazy" people, black people, but EDUCATED people that believe in our country and want to see America at its best. The only comments I hear from Republicans are Obama bashing statements. If your candidate is so good, why can't you emphasize on the CHANGE he is going to bring to our country? I am not going to bash McCain/Palin, I don't hate them, I just don't think they have the same vision that so many Americans do. There are so many people clinging to the hope that Obama offers, and we want to see it, we NEED to see it. We all LOVE this country and want what's best for it. If Republicans TRULY believe in McCain/Palin, sell them with their ideas, not by attacking their opponent!!!!!!

53. Can Hillary be written in as a third choice? That would be great. Hillary's October surprise should be that she is going to be on the ballot as an independent. I do not like the way she was dumped for a prettier more likable character, I think it was because she would have been much harder to manipulate!

54. John McCain should've given Letterman some pointers on comedy. McCain killed at the Al Smith Dinner, unlike Letterman who bombed at the Oscars

55. Please listen to the educated people in our country. It will help you understand the good things that President Obama will do for all of us.

56. Can someone please explain the sense in this statement made by Sen Obama:

Great Quote By Obama

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.
I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it." (Barak Hussein Obama)

60. To those who support McCain, do you realize you want a guy as President who cheated on his poor sick wife with a woman 17 years younger than him then married her a month after the divorce? Does that show good character?
