Palin Dances to Her Own Beatdown

Finally seeing Tina Fey and Sarah Palin in the same place was great -- but the best part of "SNL" last night came when Sarah Palin kept the beat while Amy Poehler railed her with a rap song.

The combination of Poehler's dancing Eskimos, the first dude busting moves in a ski suit behind her and a fake moose killing really nailed Palin -- and we don't mean the old-fashioned way.

17. 13. This SNL was horrible,NOT FUNNY at all they SNL cast seemed to be dragged down and drudging through SNL ,the reich wing night from Walhberg who supports McCain,to Palin seem to drag the cast down and was totally off and not funny, they republicans seem to be able to drag everything down they they appear on .

Wow - the republicans are even responsible for SNL's shi&&y writing and lame skits? Really? SNL has been going downhill for quite awhile. As usual, Paul, you represent everything that is wrong with Liberals and your messiah.

18. Stop trying to compare Michelle Obama to this nitwit (Palin). There is no need for Michelle Obama to go on SNL -- SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR OFFICE (OR MORE SPECIFICALLY --SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR AN OFFICE THAT SHE IS WOEFULLY UNQUALIFIED FOR). These types of comparisons miss the point all around. First, how can folks compare a person running for office with the spouse of someone running? Just because they are both women, that is absolutely where the similarity ends. The more appropriate comparison would be for Joe Biden to go on SNL -- and you know what? He's probably love it! He is willing to poke fun at himself.

Why don't YOU....STFU!

Your RACIST comments and bigoted remarks AGAINST anyone that would stand in support and RALLY for McCain & Palin and not for your Messiah OBAMA....pretty much negates and irrationalizes any point you thought you may have.

What an ignorant hateful b!tch you must REALLY be to put things in those terms.

This country has been MULTI-racial long before your precious Obama stepped into the political arena. You bring up PAST racial divides this country has had to cross and get over as though it's still a major problem yet today? ALL vietnam vets went thru the sh@# you tried to lay out here as being isolated towards BLACK vets, and they didn't all come home until the early 70's, of which (by THAT time) this "riding in the back of the bus" thing was already made history and illegal as a form of discrimination.

Get your ignorant facts straight and live in the presence. Rather than be able to be PROUD of where we've come as a COUNTRY and be PROUD that both a man of color and a WOMAN can be this close to being in such an important leadership position over us, we have to endure the bigoted and BITTER attitudes of haters like yourself, that want to hold the past over our heads as though to say we've gone NOWHERE and that journey will not be recognized...UNLESS we vote for OBAMA!

You opportunistic little twit!

Michelle Obama should NEVER have been anything but PROUD of this country, for having lived in the time when she DIDN'T ever have to suffer thru the racism her parents and others had to. Her husband has been able to rise up and be part of this era in which people of color and various nationalities CAN be successful and led prosperous lives and achieve personal goals. He's at the doorstep of the WHITE HOUSE, and yet it's still not ENOUGH!

Being proud of our country shouldn't come and go depending upon our personal gripes and concerns over how our GOVERNMENT is operating and managing our economy and security. Our COUNTRY is a whole lot more than what makes up the pinheads in Washington.

I stand in that McCain group you want so desperately to call RACIST and I think that knocks us BACK to that time you don't seem to want to forget and move on from. Knowing that these are the kinds of attitudes the Obama camp hold onto..is it any wonder why the MAJORITY of us Americans are concerned about his personal agenda for us ALL and not just the few??

You idiots are really going to stir up the sh@# if this election doesn't go your way, and that will be a disaster for this country you all so proud of suddenly TODAY but won't be tomorrow...if you don't get your way! Fair weather PATRIOTS??

20. They didn't give her enough lines to say in the skits! Even SNL is afraid she would mess up.

21. Didn't watch the show, just looked at your clip and few others online -- from what I saw, it was pretty funny and Palin was a good sport about it all. I think Poehler "shooting" the moose was my favorite part.

22. Palin was great on SNL, she and Wahlberg were funny, I have to say it's the first time I have watched in years, and the last, I didn't get that shaky lady at dinner skit at all, oh well.

I am still voting DEMOCRAT, go Obama

24. Does anyone seem to notice how whenever a person of color is in the spotlight, whether it's OJ Simpson on trial for murder, or a highly Black populated area gets struck by a natural disaster and even a Black candidate is just one more election day away from becoming our PRESIDENT....Americans are all just RACISTS still?

Can the idiots not even see the asinine nature of that logic...in attempting to use RACE as a weapon? Makes me wonder how anything will be able to get done in Washington now, should Obama become President? Can you imagine the reaction to the media attacking him, like they've attacked everyone else (not that they would, since he's the guy THEY want, but just sayin') or other members of the House and Senate disagreeing with him on any major issues?

All Obama has to do is charge RACISM...and he'll get his way!

We might literally be F@#ked here people! Partisan politics will now become RACIAL DISCRIMINATION POLITICS!

Yeah, great way to lead our country Obama and his wife haven't particularly been too proud of (as adults) until NOW!

Well put Mr. A! Obama was here is St. Louis yesterday and judging by the pan of the crowd by news cameras, there were blacks and whites at the rally under the Arch. Why do Obama supporters keep trying to turn this election into a race war? If we are to believe this is a free country where blacks and whites can prosper to the highest office in the land, then playing the race card has no value. You Obama supporters don't trust your guy can win w/o playing the race card at every turn?

#3. I still haven't figure out why they don't do this to Michelle Obama. Remember she just started to love her country when her husband ran for president.
Posted at 12:03PM on Oct 19th 2008 by Lenn K.

Ummmmm... Michelle Obama is NOT running for office.
If you're going to make a comparison... Biden appearing on SNL would be the equivalent to Palin's appearing on SNL.

Like Baldwin --- Who has been doing this kind of thing practically his entire life. It was as if it was the first time he was ever on a stage he never let his eyes move from the cue cards. He was cold and life less. She was much more at ease then he was. I guess he new what a slime he's been with nothing to back he's rhetoric up with and when he came face to face with her he couldn't handle it.
