365. Bugsy - lousy argument - Palin has done nothing but claw her way to the top by ousting those who helped her get there. The natural gas pipline you discuss has NOT been built and probably never will be. She was all for the Bridge to Nowhere, and then when Washington DC put a stop to it, she was against it (and then lies about it on the campaign trail - why ISN'T she bringing it up anymore? because she's a LIAR!!!) Oh, and BTW, she kept over 200 million for the bridge that was never built, why not send that "pork" back??? Then there's the fact that she was the first EVER mayor of Wasilla to hire a lobbiest to go to Washington to get "those dirty" earmarks for her city. Her husband was like Don Corleone running around the Capitol sitting in on meetings and bullying state employees to get her brother-in-law fired. They are both fakes and phoneys. She claimed to be "scared" of her brother-in-law, then why did she cut her security stakk in half after she was elected??? HMMMMMM...She also cut property taxes in Wasilla and then RAISED the city tax - sounds like a "distribution of wealth" to me.
But the best reason not to vote for her - SHE HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF ABUSE OF POWER - SHE ACTUALLY VIOLATED A STATE ETHICS CODE - AND IT'S NOT OVER YET!!!!!!!! And yet she denies that too - here is her quote - "I am just so thankful that I have benn cleared of any wrongdoing, anything unlawful OR UNETHICAL." And Bugsy, you are stupid enough to buy her load of crap?? I have a bridge to sell you...

According to the media....it's not about what these candidates have DONE, but what will they DO!

Right? Isn't that the response we get when we question Obama's past and show concern for things he's done in his PAST and the people he has associated with, in his PAST. He has no REAL record of doing anything SPECTACTULAR or BRILLIANT in serving this country, nothing any better than what Sarah Palin can list on HER resume to be a VP behind McCain (who btw has the BEST record and past of ANY of them, with ten tons of experience to use) so why the tougher standards for the VP candidate?

if Obama's sh@#ty past is off limits and the past is of no concern regarding what these candidates WILL do and not what they HAVE done...why should we have to come up with something from Palins PAST in order to justify her credentials?

At least Barack Obama is (and sounds) intellegent, has an even temperament, can answer questions without sounding like a fool,has not committed ethic violations, doesn't lies about bridges, knows foreign affairs, CAN'T SEE RUSSIA FROM HIS HOUSE, and didn't shuttle his kids around the country on the taxpayer dime (what's that about "cuttin out the pork" Gov Palin??). She talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. Bugsy - you forgot about fake and fraud - I hear that she and Todd are due for another deposition in the troopergate scandal...she has already been found guilty of an ethics violation - is that what we want in our elected officials?? Violators of ethical standards?? Not me! And for someone who brags about "cutting out the pork" and reform - she charged the state of Alaska $17,000 for per diem whike staying in her own home and then let Alaska pick up another $21,000 for airline flights and hotel rooms for her kids - who weren't even invited to the events?? 375. SHARE THE WEALTH FOLKS, You just may have to get used to it!!!!!!

Yesterday on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.

Once in the restaurant I noticed that my server had an "Obama 08" campaign button pinned to his tie. Again I laughed at the manner in which he had given away his political preference -- just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server -- and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside because I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn ...... even though the actual recipient was in greater need of the money.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
