Palin Dances to Her Own Beatdown

Finally seeing Tina Fey and Sarah Palin in the same place was great -- but the best part of "SNL" last night came when Sarah Palin kept the beat while Amy Poehler railed her with a rap song.

The combination of Poehler's dancing Eskimos, the first dude busting moves in a ski suit behind her and a fake moose killing really nailed Palin -- and we don't mean the old-fashioned way.

62. Hmmm....Would be real interesting if people had to pass an IQ test before voting? ACORN would be a thing of the past!
...along with OBAMA!

63. Uhhh, isn't Obama 1/2 white and raised by his white side of the family? Why isn't he considered mixed race then? It's like his poor dead white mom didn't even exist.

64. 59. To # 50,

Glad to hear your only criteria for the second highest position in our country is the ability to have thick skin and read a teleprompter during a speech! haha. Palin may have the capacity to learn quick (as she has shown in the past few weeks), but I don't feel comfortable with her in the White House at this point as her experience relating with Americans in the "lower 48" began when McCain picked her...and she has not even been out of the country other than to Canada and Mexico (Kuwait photo op aside). She may be a great person, but if she can't relate to the needs of our country....its irrelevant. And, if she could we have no reason to know it......we still don't know this person past her stump speech. She SHOULD be able to be on every show, giving interviews with tough questions or not. She SHOULD be able to answer the questions that the debate moderator asked of her. I could go on and on.

Cool, so maybe we need someone who is green in Washington? Not this green. Palin hasn't exactly shown a "maverick" attitude in not doing what McCain / GOP have told her to do at this point (show one off the cuffe moment with her?), so isn't it fair to think that she could probably be either sucked in or eaten alive in Washington until she learned how to handle everything? With our country in such a crap spot right now, we don't need that risk.

I know it's difficult for you libs to tolerate anyone with character and principles. You stand for nothing and you'll fall for anything. You refuse to recognize Governor Palin's accomplishments. All libs have done since Governor Palin was announced as VP choice is to assassinate her character, personally and professionally. It's quite clear that there is nothing that Governor Palin can do to satisfy a hate filled liberal Obama supporter. You'll be one of the ones who says "I didn't vote for him" if Obama gets elected because he's going to take this great country to an ugly place it's never been.

65. 55. So the argument has been made here that Michelle Obama is OFF LIMITS to the scorn, ridicule and mockery of a show like SNL because she is just the spouse and not the candidate, yet we see even from the show last night, that Todd Palin is fair game, although he is just the spouse as well?
Posted at 1:44PM on Oct 19th 2008 by Mr. A

Once again... The skit was about PALIN.
Your point about the inclusion of Todd, is still a bad comparison.
Had OBAMA been the star of the night, Michelle being included would have been the equivalent.

66. I'm laughing my ass off reading the replies about Michelle Obama and her sudden love for the country. Shelly, you shut the hell up. Liberals want socialism and that's all they care about. No one said a thing about race but you. Blackmen are the backbone of the this country long with all other men who work hard and play by the rules. ACORN hasn't played by the rules and it's just plain Chicago election politicials registering people 10, 20 or even 40 times just to get Obama elected. We watch Sarah Palin get hammered everyday that's fine with you left wing maxist, but if you say word about Michelle, it's the Jesse Jackson rule, it's gotta to be racist. Rememeber Robert Bird was the grand wizard of KKK and he's the head Democratic leader, so blacks if that doesn't bother why should anything said about Michelle.

67. I would love to see the country being run by a black man, because I believe as the first black president he is going to make a major positive impact on our country. This is not why I believe in Obama, it's just a side effect.

Republicans tend to outsource jobs, Democrats try to bring jobs.

Republicans are for big business, Democrats are for the working man and small business.

68. John McCain in the last debate suggested that ACORN is undermining the very fabric of demoracy and he looked like he was going to cry when he said it. His "feelings" sure get hurt alot don't they?

Speaking of undermining the very fabric of democracy,
What about torturing captives?
What about the suspension of habeus corpus?
What about running a prison "offshore" so American laws don't apply?
What about wiretapping citizens without warrants?
What about out and out LYING about weapons of mass destruction to justify war?

God forbid Mickey Mouse ever takes his voter registration card to a voting booth and gets past security...that would topple our way of life....

ACORN...just the lastest "boogeyman" put out to scare people by those that have no ideas of their own on how to run a country........GOP....take a seat.....you'll have to sit this one out.....

69. As a Conservative and Republican...I wonder why i was never called a "racist" when I didn't vote for Jimmy Carter or Walter Mondale, or Bill Clinton (twice) or Al Gore or even John Kerry?

Gosh...I was just an evil Right-Winged Conservative all those years. Now of all a sudden, because the guy running for office on the LEFT is BLACK, even though I'm STILL voting against his principles that make up the liberal LEFT, I'm a "RACIST"????

How convenient! Should I fear for me and my families LIFE if I'm caught voting Republican AGAIN?? I mean PRINCIPLES and personal VALUES be damned...I've heard the chants of "a vote AGAINST Obama..is a vote FOR racism!!" but i just thought it all ridiculous and that nobody would really believe that.

Guess I'm wrong?

70. "I still haven't figure out why they don't do this to Michelle Obama." Ah, cuase Michelle isn't running for office. "Remember she just started to love her country when her husband ran for president." And Sarah and her husband want Alaska to secede from the US.

I know what you mean, I am voting for Obama and suddenly I am brainwashed...I wouldn't have heard that in prior elections either.
