Furthermore, it was an accident. The kid did jail time for it. Give him a break. Maybe the kid who got hurt should have been wearing his seatbelt.

21. People need to remember that Nick was a child when this happened and his friend was an adult (you know the people who are supposed to make good decisions and help the young). He served his time (like he should have) now drop it!

25. Let him be! Did he make a HUGE mistake? YES! But he served his time... those of you complaining about his friend in a vegetative state have obviously never been in a situation like this before. How about, one driver... with 5 of his friends riding in his car including one in the trunk. He got into a race with another vehicle and flipped his car into a tree. The driver was the only suvivior. In my city, everyone mourned and was sad, especially the parents to the other 5 kids. The thing is though, The parents didn't attack the driver and push for him to spend forever in jail because their kids died in a tragic accident.

Nick will have to live with this for the rest of his life... it was an accident...

26. Ive lived in clearwater for 30 years. The Hogans have always been gracious to strangers. What Bubba the Fat Spong has been demeaning Linda and her family for months. 27. Yeah give the chick a break. She seems like a decent person. She obviously loves her son. He did his time. Leave him alone. Hey Vince Neil of Motley Crue killed a passenger driving drunk. Halle Berry did a hit and run and broke the chick's arm then split. Why is Nick getting so beat up over this? The other kid participated in it willingly. Not fair to blame Nick for the whole thing. Anyway.....GO STOPARAZZI....I want one of those shirts.

29. Nick, PLEASE take Hulk, Linda and Brooke for a nice long drive when you get out. Have some drinks and really let loose, see how fast the car will go. Seatbelts not neccesary.
