Those posters stating Palin should be VP because she's like "one of us" make me Laugh Out Loud! as if being "one of us" is gonna be enough to be in that high position... you see, everybody has his or her level of incompetence at some point and her competence might be good for cold country governor but certainly not for Vicepresident of the United States!

33. i loved sarah palin on SNL and voted today for mc cain/ palin.... I am african american and understand that alot of african americans would vote for obama for his color because they want a black man in the white house..... i am not like that ... i vote for the right person , i don't care about race .....

i also watched hannity last night and i was disgusted with obama , disgusted with his lies , his shady associates and sick of his mean racist wife. i hate to look at her ugly face..... she is nasty , and i hate the way she looks down on people,,,

Katie Couric is a nitwit who thought she'd "make her bones" off Palin by asking an offensive condescending question you'd ask in a high school civics class, not of an elected official. Just like Tina Fey is feeding off Palin to make herself a household name. Women feeding off women, it's sick.

Has Couric ever asked this question of other pols?

Palin obviously didn't know how to answer the question in a political way - if she said some papers, she'd be branded right wing, other papers left wing. No matter how she answered she'd be vilified.

She's refreshingly not a lawyer, so she doesn't give slick canned answers the way NO-BAMA DOES. You people say you want a genuine person as Pres, yet you fall for Obama's slick fake persona.

Don't worry - in about 2 weeks Palin and the "first dude" will go crawling back to Alaska to answer more questions about her unethical behavior and abuse of power - also the new story about the shadiness of the building supplies for her house in Wasilla (connections to Ted Stevens). How much more of an inspiration is Hilary Clinton than Sara Palin? So much more, that the liberal media had a part in screwing her in this election. Palin is a joke, yet she doesn't see that she's being used. I almost feel sorry for her. What happens when her ticket loses? She and "the 1st dude" will return to Alaska where she will no doubt lose her office and her standing in the political scene up there. Sad.

By not naming any periodicals she comes across as an uninformed idiot, which is far worse than appearing right wing (which we already knew she was anyway). She could have named some mainstream ones or simply a few from each side (like National Review (right wing) and New York Times (left wing)
