My only wish is for her to have a speedy recovery and live a descent life, however long that may be. And as for Madge, you need to look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself why you would bet on someone's death. Especially someone who was kind and caring like her. 17. to all of you who commented about MRS.HOPE,thank you for all your prayers luckily she is fine and back at her home it was just a little something its not a stroke as some people mentioned ,she is laughing and having dinner at home right now enjoying with her dog name toro..i worked here at the hope household thats why i know whats going on..to madge i cant believe you said such a horrible thing you should be ashamed to yourself.. MRS HOPE living a great life here at her house she is still able ,alert her mind is good she is walking by herself ,sorrounded with RN'S 24 x 7 and people that loves her i take care of her sister here at her house and my sister take care of MRS HOPE too..right now she is enjoying her tv with her favorite dog ..so to all thank you for all the prayers ...

19. I grew up in Toluca Lake/North Hollywood and met the Hopes on multiple occasions for multiple reasons. While Bob was one of the sweetest men alive, Delores was/is one of the most INCREDIBLY RUDE and bitchy people I have met in my 40+ years. Opposites attract, I suppose. But this woman was QUEEN BITCH of the valley, end of subject. Talk to anyone that actually knew them. I won't shed a tear for this self-centered, rude, evil woman... Sorry. Bob, however, I am sure is resting in PEACE.

20. Palm Springs was my home back in 1967-73. Bob Hope was a pleasant person. I agree with the other post that Delores Hope is a rude, self-centered, Queen Bitch. Didn't you notice how she used put us through the agony of listening to her sing? I have always been puzzled by her holier-than-thou mentality. She acted as if Bob's money was their ticket into Heaven. Did you know that she and a Roman Catholic priest named "Father Dollar" hand out one dollar bills to the indigent men and women on Los Angeles Skid Row during the holidays? That strikes me as so insullting. What the hell can a homeless, hungry, person-sleeping-on-the-cold-sidewalk buy for one dollar? A chocolate bar?
