Nick Hogan Races to Freedom

166 days in jail = leaving your friend in a vegetative state for life.
Nick Hogan: Click to watch
Nick Hogan was released from Pinellas County Jail just after midnight Tuesday morning. We're told he arrived back at his mom Linda's house to a thumping party, replete with loud music and cops surveying the scene.

And how's this for funny/creepy: a big-boned buxom blonde ran up to Nick as he walked free. None of the photogs could figure out whether it was Brooke or Linda. (Check the vid to see.)

Nick pleaded no contest to a felony charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury back in May. He was sentenced to eight months but only served the aforementioned 166 days due to "good time and gain time" credit.

His best friend, John Graziano, remains hospitalized and will require medical care the rest of his life.

106. Everyone can talk alot a crap about the Hogans, but let me tell you all this, if John had his seatbelt on he would have never been in the state he is now. Looking at the damage of the car Nick should have been the one seriously injured. I have the outmost respect for the Hogan's except for Linda (Gold Digger). So everyone should look at the facts and not base everything they hear on the news as the news only wants people to hear the bad things not the good things in life.

107. Wat Nico did was wrong, but many teenagers do what he did and aren't so judged? I'm not defending him in any way...be he only got such a harsh punishment cuz he is the son of Hulk Hogan. if he wasn't the punishment wouldn't be so hard I can bet that...
PS: The girl in the video is Brooke...It's very obvious.
Stop judging ppl when u don't know the full story because maybe, but just maybe the guy who Nick got hurt might not have been so innocent after all. He is older than Nick so why did he go in teh car if he knew Nick might have been drinking?

108. How much do you want to bet he got loaded at his "thumping party", and jokes were cracked about taking his keys. This whole family sickens me, INCLUDING Brooke.

And to those who want to place 50% of the blame on John Graziano, you're all idiots. JG was of legal drinking age and since he was drunk, was being responsible by NOT driving.

When a licensed driver takes on an impaired passenger, they are assuming full responsibility for that person's well-being with respect to the driving experience, including not starting the vehicle until the passenger's seatbelt is buckled.

Graziano was young, too, and had just gotten back from already-life-changing war service.

Again, idiots.

110. this was a horrible accident that left 2 peoples life changed for the rest of their lifes......... so lets not be insane to think that nick hogan does not think about what happen everyday ... or that how he wishes that it did not happen...... with all the paps covering the story,,, he will never forget and he will have to deal with it for the rest of his life....... and his friend John, an outstanding young man who served our country and was a good friend of the hogans.... how can everyone that speaks negative about the situation not realize that its like your own kids and their best friends...... having a good time wich turned into a life nightmare..........i can remember when i was 17 -19 the crazy things that all my friends did... i can also remember the 2 friends that drove to vegas for a night of gambling and on the way back the driver fell asleep and they crashed and both passengers where killed..........or should i say both teens...... or the other classmate that was in a car accident and survived but with injuries that took his ability to walk.................. those are examples of accidents.................... and accidents happen................ we just hope that people learn from the situation but most teens think they are invinsible and nothing can happen to them.............................. just like last year when 4 teens took out their dads bmw m5 to drive it fast on a closed airport............. the car lost control and it crashed killing all 4 teens...............so i am sure the father will never be the same............but do we think that the other parents are attacking this man because he had a bmw m5, because his son did something that he thought would be cool to do with his friends............. i dont think so.................... so i ask everyone that has anger towards the hogans to simply realize that the hogans where at one point a close family.............and most of us enjoyed their reality show because it was family oriented ....................... and now their family has changed forever.................i dont think that if this accident happened with your son............you would like me to have anger towards you or your family members.................... may god bless everyone

111. TMZ- PLEASE HAVE YOUR REPORTERS FOLLOWUP ON WHAT THE LOGAN FAMILY HAS DONE FOR THE VICTIM AND HIS FAMILY?
ASIDE FROM THE COURT CASEs pending.....what has the family done in the past and present that shows that they are a compassionate family?
Has Nick been in contact with his friend? Does he visit?
Has be done anything to make his friend's rehab process easier?
This young man is going to have to have total care, not even go to the bathroom himself and to hear of this nick partying is really disgusting. There is much that he could do.....what about some public sevice anouncements for drunk and speeding driving? Instead of watching him race around on the reruns of his show...what about something of worth.
WHAT CAN YOU- TMZ - DO TO ENCOURAGE THIS YOUN NICK TO DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE WITH HIS LIFE. YOU HAVE SOME CLOUT AND A POSITION TO INFLUENCE- WHAT ABOUT YOU GUYS DOING SOMETHING WORTHWHILE.? YOU HAVE A CREATIVE STAFF...USE THEIR SKILLS.
I can only hope that karma will come around to young Nick unless he turns himself around.
TMZ- DO SOME GOOD WORK...DO SOMETHING POSITIVE.

113. Maybe the party was for Nicks enagement to his new cellmate Bubba. Nick is very happy cause no lube is needed anymore after all the workouts dropping the soap in the shower.

114. The music was so loud to drown out Brookes lousy singing in the house. Her cd is such a bomb that people use the cd as a coaster for their drink.

115. #101 is right. I am sure everyone on this board made stupid mistakes as a teen maybe not to Nick's extent yet all of you have learned to correct you mistakes. John had been dringing and chose to get in the car with Nick who I am sure John knew likes to race. This was no secret. In my area in the past 3 months 4-5 different accident resulting in death and booze have occured by teens 16-18, and they are not reported nationally because none of the kids were Hogan's son. In all cases the accidents were even worse than Nicks which is hard to believe. 3-4 of the kids died and in one card 2 died and 6 were seriously hurt.

The point of this when we were all teenagers we all made stupid decisions and though maybe not as serious as Nick, many of you were fortunate because you may have not been caught by local law enforcement or someone did not rat you out. I AM NOT a Hogan fan but before all of you attack Nick think about your teen years. For the record, I am a Rickey Steamboat fan.

116. I don't think Nick should be bashed for anything he did his little bit of time let him be. It wasn't his fault that his friend wanted to jump in a car with a irresponsible little twerp. The friend was older and should have used better judgement and his parents know that but where ever there is money there is a show i can't stand the hogans but you have to call it like it is. if it were someone else out of the hollywood playground as i like to call it (because thats all they do is play they never work) nicks friend would have been responsible for himself no one put a gun to his head and said get in now. if we were all responsible for someone doing something out of there own judgement do you have any idea how many of us would be arrested or facing time? I talking about parents for not raising their children correctly etc, kids picking on other kids forcing them to kill innocent people shouldn't they be behind bars? because if your saying nick should be responsible then we should all be responsible for all the lives we ruin without voluntarily doing it or without doing anything at all just because they used their own brain and made a bad call. i mean think about it people before you go yapping off at the mouth think how it would effect you if you were in that position don't just look at it as the outsider and make comments you wouldn't or can't apply to yourself or your family because like someone pointed out also he is family so brooke or whomever is in the pic was there to show love and support as many of you would do yourselves for a loved one.

117. the kid doesn't deserve to live, when he dies from some freak accident, then the party starts.

118. OnPoint, I ALMOST agree with you. I would NOT get in the car with a friend if I knew that they were drunk and/or going to drive recklessly. That being said, John was filmed on their reality show spending lots of time in the passenger seat of Nicks car. He knew that Nick was irresponsible and reckless behind the wheel. He knew the risks of getting in the car with Nick.

I do believe that it was an ACCIDENT... it happens a lot around here. I can't tell you how many teens in my city every year have killed a friend of theirs. There is actually a discussion of increasing the legal driving age. Nick received his punishment and he served his time and will hopefully walk away having learned a lesson.

On the other hand, John knew that Nick was a reckless driver. John was 24 and Nick was 16... 8 years apart and best friends? They were both drunk the night of the accident. It makes you think that John may have given Nick the alcohol and then gotten in the car with him. As wrong as Nick was (He was completely wrong in his actions) John's family should step up and realize that their son was not innocent in his action either.

119. Number 24 is Brooke. How does it feel to be mistaken for a 50 year old, Brooke-tini?

120. Hey, IDIOTS, STOP saying it was an ACCIDENT.

It was NOT an accident.

The punk was ILLEGALLY and dangerously racing where he shouldn't have been. He was underage but had alcohol prior to the CRASH. The passenger was NOT wearing a seat belt.

With all of these things, the law was INTENTIONALLY BROKEN on all counts; therefore, there was NO FREAKIN ACCIDENT!
