Oprah Could Go Brit for Obama

31. Do you know why race is brought up so much in this election? Because race is always an issue when an African American is going for something never attained before from a minority. If the going gets tough along the way just yell out "RACISM" and then you'll get things like affirmative action and possibly the presidency. I've never owned a slave. My father never did and neither did his father so frankly I owe African Americans NOTHING. With that said, I truly believe every man and women born in this country have the same chances of achieving their goals just as much as the next. Now, if Obama was the right choice (in my views) I would vote for him but he doesn't so I won't. Am I racist? If anything I would say there is alot of reversed racism going on in the election. How many black republicans have gone democrat? I think you'd be surprised at the change of heart.

35. I am British. Oprah ........Ambassador to Britain...???? Spare me."! Send me a real Ambassador not Sambo the clown. She has money, that is all. She will never rise above her book of the month club............. & that in itself , mortifyingly does not even approach mediocrity. She is a daytime talk show host...She does not have the calibre to represent the U.S. in such a position. She would invoke laughter & ridicule . Oprah as Ambassador.................quick.hand me a vomit basin.

36. John Gardin I know everything about absolute poverty. My parents were poor. My childhood was poor. Sometimes lard sandwiches were all My family had to eat. Clothes were given to us. shoes.were given to us. Toys...My siblings & I did not have. My father worked hard to support us. I babysat from age 13. Worked in snackbars during my school years.after school & on week-ends & during the summer. I supported myself, as I educated myself. My childhood was miserable. I endured emotional & physical abuse daily................I have never bled the system...not once. I have worked hard & always paid my way...........I continue to do so. Obama is not going to spread my income to support those who are too lazy, & make any & every excuse not to work......but Expect..!!! I have worked very hard against adversity.......I work full time, I pay my bills, taxes. support my family & help my extended family. I donate regularly to a charity. Obama is welcome to spread his own personal wealth ..................but he will Not !!..spread my fixed income to lazy sloths who sit on their asses & expect to be supported. You "want"........you "work".............you don't "work" you don't "get".

37. I am an English citizen, and I think it would be cool to see Oprah as abassador to the UK. I think if people gripe about the fact that she has connections to Caroline Kennedy, then they are jealous of her. Maybe she doesn't want to do talk shows for the rest of her life and being an ambassador to UK is a better job.

Oprah would not be acceptable as an Ambassador to Britain.nor would she be accepted by the British people. What an obtuse idea.
