61. This is ridiculous! Of course they're happy Nick is out of jail. I'm sure they're sorry about John but they can't live their whole lives wearing black veils. Based on this stupid reasoning no parent should be happy that their child is coming home from Iraq because others have died there? Both John and Nick knew what they were doing in that car. I'm sure John was egging it on and having a good time before the crash. Nick didn't have him tied and gagged in the car, forcing him along for the ride. John's not quite the full-out victim and Nick is not a complete devil, as John's parents would have everyone believe.

A very wise man said that a long time ago warning against casting judgement on others for their actions without thinking of our own actions that we may regret. You guys are saying that he isn't remorseful. How do you know? Are you in his house listening to the conversations with his family every minute of every day? No. You heard one stupid conversation of a scared kid who just got the wake up call of his life. I challenge any of you to go through what he and his family went through in such a short period of time and not say or do something stupid at least once. You think because you saw him on TV for 22 edited minutes a week, 12 times a year, that you know the family and have the right to judge their actions. You don't. Put yourself in his situation. You and your best friend are out on a joyride, you decide to race another friend (Which WE ALL DID WHEN WE WERE 17. Don't try to deny it!) BOOM! You slam into something. You wake up in the hospital broken and bruised, but ok. What about your best friend? What? He's in a coma? HE's not going to come out of it? Ever? How do you ever face his family again? Now, not only did you put your best friend in a vegitative state, but you have to go to jail for causing the accident that caused everything. Now you have your best friend's family sueing you and yours, but also you're parents are getting a divorce on top of everything. Now imagine THE ENTIRE WORLD IS WATCHING THIS HAPPENING TO YOU. Trust me, he did his time. He has a life sentence, he has to live with causing the accident that critically injured his best friend.
A couple more points then I'll get off of my soap box.
1) How do you know that the show he wanted to do wasn't to make money to pay his parents back and to help with John's medical expenses? Nobody thought to explore that idea did they?
2) While you were all glued to TMZ and Nancy Grace demonizing ENTERTAINERS, you neglected to pay attention to the REAL CRIMINALS who got us into an unnecessary war and brought our economy to a crash and have destroyed our country's reputation in the world.

66. The Hogan's are horrible people who deserve nothing but the worst. It's true that Nick did time behind bars and that the other kid wasn't forced into the car...but the Hogan's are trying to capitalize on this. They basically said "Our son put a kid into a coma...so watch a wh*re-of-a-daughter's new show!" They should be ashamed of themselves. I had heard talk about Nick doing a reality show about adjusting to life after prison...if that's true...it's a b.s. and tasteless idea.

Forget it. The four of them are trash, will always be trash, date trash, and spawn trash.

P.S. Who let Linda brainwash a "toddler" into dating her?

67. 1. Friends - Wish Election day closing in on us please keep in mind what the Liberal Democrats are running as a candidate this cycle. Hussein Obama is a Marxist Socialist who will run this country into the ground and tax achievement into oblivion. Just look at Joe the Plumber. Please vote McCain/Palin on Nov. 4th and vote Yes on Prop 8 in California.

Every time someone publishes a stupid lie about Obama (such as this one about him being a "Marxist"), McCain loses more votes. This also happens whenever someone mentions "Hussein". The people who come up with these gems are handing the election to Barack Obama.

The Republican party keeps shooting itself in the foot by spewing out this false trash. The G.O.P. is destroying itself and killing its chances to win in November. They are looking more and more insane and self-destructive as time goes by. It's so sad to witness the suicide of what once was a great political party.

68. As the driver of the car you should ALWAYS tell everyone to wear their seat belt but,even if he didn't do that (which i know he didn't) John is a grown man he should the differance between right and wrong.It's 50 50 if you ask me.
