Kerry Katona, a British pop singer and reality TV star, showed up to a morning show completely out of it -- so much so one of the hosts flat out asked her what she was on, and the other insinuated she was an alcoholic. Let's see Regis and Kelly do that!

For those who can't speak the Queen's English, Katona is trying to blame her extremely slurred speech on prescription medication she takes to help her sleep at night.

And didn't she admit to using drugs while pregnant? It seems the Brits have their own version of Courtney Love in this one. She, Posh, and Katie Price are women of dubious achievements, indeed.

20. She's taking 150mg Chlorpromazine (Thorazine) which acts in a completely different way to Zolpidem (Ambien) and the dose she's taking is more likely to be a treatment dose for her mania than simply for sedation.

Either way, mixing it with alcohol, taking it late and getting up to do 'This Morning' was always going to be a recipe for disaster. But with a PR guru like Max Clifford behind her, there'll be some spin on it and she'll bounce back just like she has done for the past 6 years!

22. I have taken that med she said she was on a couple times and I only WISH I could have been as loaded on it as she says she is! Looks like fun. No way in hell that is all she is on. And as someone else said already- this stuff is NOTHING like Ambien.

24. for you folks in the USA who get branded drugs, Chlorpromazine is Largactil and is a heavy sedating anti-psychotic and is classed as major tranquiliser, i have taken this in the past, and it does have nasty side effects including slurred speech and involutary muscle twitches. Have some pity on the girl being exploited for her mental illnesses, since when was it a crime to be ill.

25. Your having a giraffe comparing Ambien to Chlorpromazine, like comparing mild headache to migraine. Another name for clorpromazine is liqid cosh, should say it all !!
