Miss Louisiana Teen USA Stripped of Title

Lindsay EvansLindsey Evans, Miss Louisiana Teen USA, is about a pound lighter, because she just lost her crown.

We just got an advance copy of a statement that will be released from Paula Miles, President of RPM, sponsor of the LA. pageant.

"Lindsey Evans has been part of an organization that believes in opportunities when earned and consequences when warranted. Due to recent circumstances, Lindsey has been relieved of her duties as Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2008 effective immediately."

Evans was arrested this weekend after she and a group of friends allegedly tried to dine-and-dash -- all over a $46.07 bill. Problem -- the pageant queen left her purse at the scene of the crime. She went back to retrieve it, and was busted when cops found pot in the purse.

Here's the insult to injury. She only had 10 days left on her reign. But pageant officials didn't have the patience to wait.

17. That she smokes pot is not a big deal. That she tried to renege on her restaurant bill is. LOTS of beauty pageant contestants use some type of illegal substances as does a substancial percentage of people on Earth. Ruth Zakarian, the 1st Miss Teen USA won because of her "wanting to help youth with drug problems". Well, I can tell you that she used drugs before and after that pageant. Later she became a party mate of the late comedian Sam Kinnison.

21. Awww Boo Hoo Barbie lost her title. Who is Miss Teen USA fooling? They give a crown to someone because of their looks. This girl has gone through life getting by on her looks, Miss Teen USA and this loser chick are on in the same.
The pot isn't even the real issue in my opinion. It's the total lack of respect for rules. I bet her and her little friends were little sh**s to the waitress too.

30. What a stupid idiot Lindsey Evans is. She deserves to lose her crown and any criminal charges (hopfully there will be some) that she may be facing. She made her bed, now she can lie in it. That's what she gets for trying to run out of the restaurant without paying her bill. When are people going to learn that when you try and cheat or rip somebody off, you will pay for your actions sooner or later and be worse off than you were before. She may look very good on the outside, but she sure is lacking brains and intelligence. What a moron!!
