19. Maybe that is because McCain is spending more as a percentage of his total ads on negative messages. Maybe it is also because he is smearing Obama with baseless accusations and trying to tie him to groups or persons that he does not support. While Obama may not be 100% innocent of that himself, he has not engaged in false rhetoric to nearly the degree McCain has. The reason is clear: McCain is desperate. He has gone from the straight talk candidate who denounced negative campaigning to a win at all costs guy because he knows the presidency is slipping away. Check the latest polls. Obama should win this in a walk.
