Leachman Sucking Life Out of "DTWS"?

"Dancing with the Stars" staffers are falling over each other to slam the show's grande dame Cloris Leachman.

Snitches tell the Chicago Sun-Times everyone from Susan Lucci to Samantha Harris has had enough of Cloris' "obnoxious schtick" and there are "deep concerns" she's driving viewers away. Lucci is "outraged" Cloris has made it this far.

"People joked it must be a whole lot of CBS, NBC, and Fox executives getting everyone they know to vote for Cloris," says a staffer.

76. To be perfectly honest I am not impressed with Susan Lucci's dancing it lacks skill and finesse. As for Cloris Leachman I think it's fabulous she is still on the show.. Honestly the woman is in her 80's and she gives her all. Even if she isnt the most talented dancer she is always the most entertaining and that is ultimately why we watch tv for entertainment.

77. I am soooo tired of Cloris. I don't even turn on the show on Monday nights anymore. I turn on for the last ten minutes
of Tuesday hoping to see her leave. I don't even like her partner, he's too rough with her.

78. I've liked Cloris as an actress for a number of years now. However they need to STOP her from butting into everybody's interviews. That's just rude!!!

Susan Lucci is way too frail looking. I know she has a petite frame but she's looking unhealty like Posh or Keira.

My favorite on DWTS is Lance but his partner did him wrong last week :(

79. i can't believe there are so many idiots who are voting for her. it's like sanjaya all over again. DWTS isn't enjoyable to watch because of Leachman. i'll be excited when it becomes a real competition.

80. Most of you guys seem to forget that this show is 50% talent and 50% popularity. If you want to watch a "pure" dance talent show then tune in to "So You Think You Can Dance" in the summer as in this show the "bozo" fans don't get to have an impact until it is too late for them to vote anybody really good off the show in favor of a lesser talent. I am a 62 year old male in the advertising profession so I am very familiar with the Nielsons and I guarantee you that the demos for this show skew a much higher age bracket than SYTYCD or AI. This means that when a popular older personality is on the show they usually last until mid-season. Remember when Sabrina Bryan got booted last year? The judges were shocked when she got the axe. If they wanted to keep her they should have given her higher marks that week or lesser scores to the weaker dances. The bulk of the audience never heard of her and the only "cheetah" they knew was a cat running around in Africa-lol

Regarding Cloris Leachman: Shame on the producers or powers that be of the DWTS show for allowing the age related comments and humulation being extended to Cloris Leachman and other older contestants from prior shows. Carrie Ann should be shown the door for her lousy comment last night to Cloris. The show wants the PUBLIC to vote, so we vote and we vote for whom ever we want. It is not just up to the smart alec judges. Carrie Ann is no spring chicken herself and her day will come.
