151. 147. Well she sure isn't getting by on her brains -- she has had THREE OPPORTUNITIES (the latest one was with a bunch of third graders) and she still is unable to correctly define what a Vice President does. Now THAT'S scary!!!!!

Actually, I think that Sarah Palin _does_ understand the Vice President's duties, but that she is deliberately pretending she doesn't in order to continue to spread false information about those duties to people who are too uninformed to know that she is lying.

One such group is those third graders. However, the other people she said that to are adults. With those people, Sarah Palin is pandering to their ignorance. In other words, she is cynically condescending to the "Joe Six-Packs" and the "hockey moms" and trying to manipulate them. She no doubt thinks herself as being smarter than they are and takes great pleasure in pulling the wool over their eyes.

152. Interesting insight, #152-- either way, I am hoping it becomes a moot point when Obama/Biden win the election.

154. I'm sick of the media targetting women, look how bad they treated Hillary in the primaries. Biden has been getting away with some really unprofessional remarks lately and yet the media ignores it.

155. - yeah, but just don't get your political coverage from cnn. cuz they've been highjacked by curry powder movie producers and hook noses with a 3 o'clock shadow. for like at least 8 years now.

156. 150. Actually, Happy Camper, I can't tell you that that comment thrilled my soul either! Quite frankly, neither candidate is my idea of a terrific choice, but because of my religious beliefs, my personal views, and a few other factors, I feel the Democratic party represents me a lot more than the Republican party, so that is how I voted. Also, a big deciding factor for me was McCain's health and age.....the idea of Sarah Palin becoming President during the next 4 years is just terribly frightening to me, not only because of what I consider to be her lack of qualifications, but because her extremely-right wing, evangelical Christian beliefs -- which I know would color her decisions as President --- they just don't represent me in any way.

OMG! A person who actually thinks and who bases her decisions on analysis and logic and reason, as well as on her own personal values, and who weighs the pros and cons before actually making a well-considered choice.

What a welcome change from the flood of people making their choices based on one-dimensional, cartoon-like characatures of the candidates.
