Barneys Window -- Anti-McCain?

There's one store potential First Lady Cindy McCain may want to think twice about before dropping any of her beer heir millions ... Barneys New York.
Obama and McCain
The high-end NYC department store's windows currently feature paintings of all the First Ladies of yore and include portraits of both Michelle Obama and Mrs. McCain. While all the works by artist Laurie Munn were made to the women's general likeness, Cindy's looks uniquely ghoulish.

So the question -- by putting the pics up, has Barneys not-so-subtly endorsed Barack Obama? We contacted the store -- a little defensive.

A rep said the the pics are an artist's interpretation. We pressed and mentioned it was Barneys decision to plaster the pics in its windows. The rep told us to go talk to the artist, adding, "We do not take any political stance."

32. Maybe there are 5 or 6 Ladies Who Lunch who are regular NYC Barney's shoppers that might vote for McCain but I doubt it. The drawing reminded me more of Candice Bushnell and her vibrant personality much more than Cindy's tight lipped Ice Queen stare.

Unlike your poster boy, Nobama has never served this country, he has only served himself. He all of a sudden claims to be a true American after he went to Germany of all places and apologized for all of the evils of our great country. McCain is not George W Bush and to call him that is just desperate.

Obama is a scammer and a fraud. Weak minded, poor, uneducated people are always looking for a Hitler to tell them what they want to hear. African Americans should be ashamed of how racist the whole Obama show has been. Obama is no different than Johnny Cochran. Playing the "race card"

I have never in my life called a person a N- you know the word. But I have been called a "White Bitch" by a black girl and a Hispanic guy. The problem is not with our Caucasian population. It s with all of the races that blame Caucasians for their problems.

34. Hey JeezLouise how about you focus some that anger to the people that's comparing Michelle to a old washer woman and other racially charged terms. Guess what the world has photos of plenty of women that can prove what I said as fact.

A good percentage of white women go through so much to be accepted physically, like having a brain doesn't matter unless you look like a sick bass. Most risk their life just to look lile something in a magazine that isn't real anyway.

We don't have to throw up or stop eating to look good, why because we accept ourselves for who we are not what we think someone wants to see. All we need is a weave occasionally and a bad ass pair of heels and we are set.

So again assume I'm ignorant for stating fact, while your next door neighbor inject needles in her face so she will look younger than a fetus

39. SHARE THE WEALTH FOLKS, You just may have to get used to it!!!!!!

Yesterday on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.

Once in the restaurant I noticed that my server had an "Obama 08" campaign button pinned to his tie. Again I laughed at the manner in which he had given away his political preference -- just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server -- and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside because I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn ...... even though the actual recipient was in greater need of the money.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
