20. Aretha needs to grow up! This wouldn't even be an issue, if she hadn't reacted like a child. Beyonce wasn't trying to be disrespectful to her, she was excited to introduce & get to perform with an icon. No one was trying to take anything from her. Beyonce even apologized to her. Aretha needs to get over herself. She's acting real childish, nothing like a queen!
She's just pissed that Tina can still get up on stage and do her thing. Don't hate, appreciate.

23. Tina Turner is a much better singer and more attractive than Franklin. Franklin needs to lose some weight before she keels over. I never found her attractive in the least.

24. Right lets go back to what actually happened.. Beyonce was introducing Tina at the Grammys.. read off a list of artists who have had a legendary careers... Aretha was named... then Beyonce said something like "all give it up for the queen.."

Everyones going on about how much of an insult to Aretha that was.. or how ones the queen of this and the others the queen of that... who cares??!! Maybe i should start being pathetic cos Patti LaBelle wasnt on the list.. or Mary J. Blige.. people just seem to be so stupid to believe what they want to believe out of loyalty and/or dislike. Grow up. Besides TMZ are biggin it up saying Beyonce said Tina was the queen of music. Erm no she didnt. Anyway rant over

28. Just to be make it clear...Tina Turner (Miss Ana Mae Bullock prior to marriage and stardom) IS world recognized as "The Queen of Rock and Roll". I watch the event when Beyonce annouced her as "The Queen"...not of anything in specific...she just said "The Queen"!

I love Aretha, but I think she just got all bent out of shape over something that wasn't said. Beyonce didn't call Tina Turner "The Queen of Soul"...which would've then been an offense to Miss Franklin since she is known for that title.

Let's just be clear: Beyonce said "The Queen"...Tina's "The Queen of Rock and Roll"...Aretha's "The Queen of Soul". Point and case...Aretha shouldn't be mad.
