17. This is so disrespectful to Sarah Palin. She is a governor and the running mate of a presidential cadidate. And for those of you who keep saying she is a fool or not ready to be the president, if necessary, you apparently have not watched much of your Joe Biden - I truly believe he is imbalanced. Stop watching and listening the candidates that you don't intend to vote for and START watching and listening to the ones you do intend to vote for - you just may change your mind.

25. This was the first time in my voting life that I voted republican - Omaba scares me, never answers the hard questions and promises 'changes' he can't keep. We all know, the president does not run the USA, the House and Senate do. Most the senate makes over $250,000 a year, you really feel they would OK a bill to NOT tax anyone making under $250,000. Changes are nice, even nicer when they are a reality.

26. Time for this election to be over so Ms. Palin can return to Alaska where she can finish her term as a governor while, also, being a full-time mother to her three youngest children. It might be good for her to study for the first time the Constitution of the United States of America. IMO it's a challenge for her to do both with the appearance of failure with her first born (drugs then to war) and second born (teen pregnancy and non-completion of high school).

John McCain and Sarah Palin are completely responsible for how the commonsense voters perceive not only her but him for having sold his soul along the way! They have demonstrated narcissistic and self-serving ambition with their hook-up at the Republican Convention and on the campaign trail. Most voters and the Houses of Congress will never perceive John McCain in the "Vietnam Hero" light, again.

She's attractive but doesn't appear to have the density of gray matter required to hold one of the two top positions in our government and not much more can be said of the erratic and aging John McCain who has unresolved rage from having been imprisoned during the war. I don't want him responsible for the Red Phone!!!!

So far the people are able to speak (unless the RNC and Rove steal the election as they did in 2000) to the fact that we want our Nation back, we are fed-up with the fearmongering and warmongering of the past eight years, we want to rebuild this Nation economically and socially, and we want America and our people to be respected as members of the global family.

The old 20th Century ways of being and doing things hasn't worked during the past eight years and, therefore, macro change is required and each and everyone of us must work hard and do our part just like our Founding Fathers and the first brave souls who came to America.

We had one bumbling Republican President in the Oval Office during the past eight years and look where the United States of America is today!
