106. Hello Kitty, Our military is still voluntary, and there has never been more recruits than there have been in the past 8 years, since the draft. Some citizens are proud to serve and defend this country, and don't need to asked, they do it out of Patriotic duty.

As for Michelle Obama, (since you brought her up) '"for the first time in my ADULT life I am REALLY proud to be an American" ....why is that? only because it is HER HUSBAND running for office, he even has her brainwashed into thinking he is the only person in the US that can run the presidency proficiently. How sad it is that he will be going in with "on the job training".

108. Yeah Bite Me it's volunteer alright, .. I wonder if it has to do with all the promises (Ooops I mean lies, you know, 'we'll pay for college if you join' sort of stuff) ...or maybe it's the idea that you will get ahead in life by joining, maybe they just fell for the fear mongering Bush pushed on us all...whatever their reasons, they are there now and deserve all of our respect, gratitude and admiration. ... .. so that make me wonder why are you , who obviously want to stand up for our men and women in the military, not completely ashamed and outraged by how Bush has treated them? Vet's benefits and health care is terrible, families are lied to or flat out ignored when they have concerns, issues or questions, soldiers who want out are sent back.. so don't sob story me about supporting our military , if you really want to stand up for THEM then you should be screaming for Bush's impeachment for starting this war on false pretenses, you should be mad as all get out that McCain has no plans to bring them home.

And why is Michelle only now proud???. hello.. have you seen the state of our country? While 5% enjoy the good life 95% of people struggle and go without. She believes in what her husband wants to do, the changes he wants to make.. she .. you.. nor anyone else is obligated to be proud of the things this country has done over the years and continues to do to this very day, as a matter of fact we have a duty to stand up against the greedy corruption that has so many of us now wondering if we will keep our homes, our jobs, our healthcare, we owe them nothing, THEY owe us answers and we still haven't gotten any. Frankly I'll take her honesty ,the wife of a presidential nominee, over McCain and Palin's bold faced lies and hate mongering.. it's disgusting and frankly some of the stuff out of Palin's mouth just recently has been so unbelievably divisive and unpatriotic my jaw actually drops when I hear it ... but I guess you just choose not hear that stuff right?

114. I love watching those little youtube videos that are supposed to scare people from voting for Obama.. I mean really, my 11 year old brother posts skate videos on that site with ease.. if there isn't actual graphic nudity or violence, they'll okay it. My point being that just because someone takes the time to put up a cute little slideshow with some creepy music and scrolling text talking sht, does not mean that it is credible in any way shape or form.. idiots.

As far as McCain's brother goes, I couldn't care less that he wanted to find out what was going on with traffic he was stuck in.. and I find it humorous that he wouldn't think to tune into the radio or call one of those roadside numbers they post for exactly that purpose... It wasn't inapropriate at all though, given the fact that he is practically a celebrity, right? :)

Also, LOVED the entire story on that crazy girl with the self-inflicted political attack.. You can't make that stuff up! Poor John McCain, hopefully after all this campaign trash is over he can get some much needed rest, he's looking terrible these days.

It's OK for Caribou Barbie to spend $150k for a 3 month wardrobe, but not the "average hockey mom." It's OK for McCain's wife to be a drug addict, but not you and me. 120. I don't care who's brother you are, saying F*** you to a hard working 911 operator just shows how out of touch, selfish, angry, and stupid you really are. This person was just trying to do their job of keeping anyone in real trouble safe, and to get them help quickly. I guess he thougth since his brother is just about president, then he can use that number for any minor complaints he has!
