McCain Attacker's Story Is Total B.S.

The girl who claimed she was beaten because she is a John McCain supporter has now admitted to making up the story. In fact, there wasn't even a robbery or a beating. Paging Tawana Brawley!

Ashley Todd told police she doesn't know how she got the "B" on her face and suspects she might have done it to herself in her car, but doesn't actually remember.

Police say she was very polite and very cooperative, however they have discovered she has a history of mental problems.

Cops say she is being charged with making a false report to police.

62. I just think she is a sick person that wanted media attention. I don't lay blame with anyone but her for her own stupid actions. What a loser!!!!

63. I knew right away because the B is backwards. I can tell she used a mirror to do it.

64. And this is a surprise to who? It's a sad state of affairs when you have to stoop this low to gather support for your candidate. Regardless of who you're voting for, if this is the level you have to sink to, to draw attention to someone you're supporting, then perhaps his campaign run could be in a bit of trouble. And to accuse a Black man too? Very sad....

Moment of Truth
John Moody
Executive Vice President of Fox News

It had to happen.

Less than two weeks before we vote for a new president, a white woman says a black man attacked her, then scarred her face, and says there was a political motive for it.

Ashley Todd, a 20-year-old white volunteer for John McCain’s presidential campaign, says she was mugged at an ATM machine in Pittsburgh (my hometown) by a big black man. She further says he threw her down, then disfigured her by carving the letter “B” into her face with a sharp implement when he saw that she supported McCain, not Barack Obama.

Part of the appeal of, and the unspoken tension behind, Senator Obama’s campaign is his transformational status as the first African-American to win a major party’s presidential nomination.

That does not mean that he has erased the mutual distrust between black and white Americans, and this incident could become a watershed event in the 11 days before the election.

If Ms. Todd’s allegations are proven accurate, some voters may revisit their support for Senator Obama, not because they are racists (with due respect to Rep. John Murtha), but because they suddenly feel they do not know enough about the Democratic nominee.

If the incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting.

For Pittsburgh, a city that has done so much to shape American history over the centuries, another moment of truth is at hand.

67. I especially loved the part where she said it was a dark skinned man that attacked her....God bless this woman for real oh and it's nice to know that whereever there's a robbery blame the "dark skinned" person for it! Thanks America!!!

69. Why do they always say a black man did it when they decide to kill their wives/children, cut themselves or get beat up by their daddy? I thought she looked too calm considering what she claimed she had been through. More of Pennsylvania's finest. lmao

70. so all of a sudden now she has mental problems? why wasen't her story throughly investigated before splashing her face and her lies to the world?!? that is not just the race card its the royal flush.so she might have "carved" the B herself?? who gave her the "black" eye?! lol! she is a prime example that racism is very much alive and doing well. it is what this great country was built on!! same s#@! different century.. OBAMA 08 OBAMA 08 OBAMA 08

the 1st president was elected in 1789 it only took us 220 years to have a African American candidate elected.

220 years and 43 presidents later.....im proud that i can hopefully look at the leader of our country and not see a War Hungry Animal (McBush)....but a candidate of the people (Democracy)..And the day he's sworn in.. is the day im reborn as an American. the time for change wasn't then...the time for change isn't tomorrow...THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW...2008 Year Of Barack Obama.
