16. This happened in Chicago. I wonder why the family didn't defend themselves with their firearms....Oh, that's right! In Chicago, only the criminals are allowed guns. How stupid of me. That being said, this is a shame, and lawmakers failed this family, by guaranteeing that they would never be able to defend themselves legally, while this POS is running around their city with illegal weapons. In July 2008, there we 62 murders in Chicago, which is more deaths than soldiers in Iraq since May 2008, a friggin war zone! How is obama working for you, Chicago?

18. How could such discriminating comments even be allowed to be shown on here, it worries me to think you really thought these racial comments were acceptable and should be shared. Stop encouraging these outdated brainwashed people to think they are right by allowing them to share their distorted thoughts, they are murderers by mouth and should not be allowed on any public blog. Please keep them locked up for life and out of these places, these thoughts do not belong in society. This just goes to prove why racism has to still be brought up this day and age, thank you, you have just shown why the minorities still need to be protected, awareness is important. What a shame there are still ignorant people out there that have no idea that they too are not all white, they could try to hide under the white cover all they want, but I hate to break the news to those people , but in the end everyone is connected, their skin just happens to be lighter, but obviously they have bigger issues to deal with that go deeper below their skin that they were born with and need to be dealt with. Hopefully, the people controlling this blog will be open minded enough to also allow this one to be shown too. I just feel bad about this tragic story and for Jennifer Hudson, no one deserves to die that way and I know she will be hounded by the media through it all. I hope the child is found and is safe, this is what matters. We all sooner or later have tragedy in our lives, so stop being such miserable people and enjoy the peaceful moments you do have instead of using that time to be so negative.

20. This is a tragic reality of our society. This incident is justification of the DEATH PENALTY. When this duranged killer is found and proven guilty, then he should be executed immediately. He should be executed by means of forced organ donation, not just simply killed. An organ donating convict will end up saving the lives of nine people (two lungs, two kidneys, three lobes of the liver, a heart, a pancreas, not to mention eyes and tissue). This would be much more efficient than lethal injection and would save many other lives. This should be considered by the Legislation and enacted into law immediately. This would be the ultimate deterrent for horrible crimes such as this. Death Row should be empty! They should all be put to death in a way granting UTILITY to society. By the way, I am a moderate (not liberal or conservative), registered nurse and voter. And yes I voted for CHANGE. Jennifer, my prayers are with you.

22. Furthermore this is an unfortunate lesson to all WOMEN in our society. Many of you are afraid of owning a gun or weapons for defense of any kind (i.e. Taser, defense sprays, etc.). Here is yet another example as to why WOMEN should use prudent judgment and own a means to defend themselves. DO NOT take any man for granted, especially one with a criminal past. Do not own defense tools out of FEAR, but out of prudent THINKING. Just as you would own full coverage auto insurance...... JUST IN CASE.

28. First I'll like to say my prayers and thoughts go out to Jennifer and her family and may that little boy be found and returned safe and unharmed.

Nere, and the rest of you all that is trying to say Jennifer has all this money and should have been doing this and that for her family. How much money do you really think she have? She just started making money!! You think she made money off Dreamgirls? Her first movie? which had big names starring in it too? i'm sure she didn't do bad but i'm sure it wasn't enough to start making a lot of drastic changes. Her album just dropped and i don't even think it went platinum yet, so you know it's not a lot of money she has made so far off of it yet. what should she get this extra huge advancement up front and then when she start actually making money she does not see it because she have to pay the record company back first.

Also, her family are not the stars here. That was her childhood home. Maybe her Mother didn't want to move, older people especially like to try to keep things the same as much as possible. Some people stay the same even when they do get a little money.

And for the pepole who are just getting on here being ignorant. hopefully, nothing tragic happens in your family.
