Goalie Eats It on Palin's Rug

There's at least one hockey mom that isn't a fan of Sarah Palin's anymore -- the mother of St. Louis Blues' goalie Manny Legace.

Sarah Palin dropped another ceremonial puck last night, this time before a Blues and Kings game. Legace ended up busting his butt on the rug they laid out for Palin as he entered the ice -- and ended up leaving the game after the first period due to a strained left hip flexor.

What a waste of padding.

16. Are you KIDDING me? They always put down the carpet for ANYONE who drops the puck at a hockey game. If Legace tripped over it, it was his own fault.

27. Oh please...it's just in good fun. Palin is taking hits everywhere. If you want to complain, tune into SNL. They've had the best skits in years; the Palin/McCain ones are the funniest in ages.

28. it isnt palins fault or mannys i was at that game and the guy who was supposed to be standing on the rug so it didn't come out from underneath them moved just as manny stepped on it and manny fell when the carpet came out from underneath him

they then moved the rug out of the way so none of the other players had to step on it

manny should be back soon though he said he wants to be back for the next game
