What's really disgusting is that while the MS press went nuts on this, they didn't say a thing about an actual attack on a McCain supporter by a crazed Obama fan. It happened when a older female McCain supporter was standing holding a McCain/Palin sign and the sight of it so enraged the psycho Obama supporter than he went over to her, grabbed the sign and broke it in pieces then used the stick from it to beat the woman on the head. The story has been confirmed, the man confronted by police and confessed and he was arrested. But, of course, the main stream press and TMZ don't care about that. Actually the keen press attention is the first thing that made me suspicious about Ashley Todd case. I had serious doubts the Obama loving press would actually publicize something that might make Obamacons look bad and I was right. The crazy chick with a history of mental problems who happens to volutnteer for McCain makes big headlines, of course.

and what of the confirmed attack in Wisconsin, where an agitated McCain supporter grabbed an Obama campaign helper by the hair on the back of her head and beat her about the face while yelling about ACORN? This is also going to court, and I only read about it locally.

What you don't seem to understand is that ANY instance like that is brought to the attention of the candidate or their comittee before it ever sees press. Therefore, without any hard evidence, the McCain camp jumped on the opportunity to reign in a few sympathy votes by jumping on what was supposedly a politically motivated attack.. Definitely didn't hurt (for them, at the time) that the "assailant" was black either. Truly unfortunate that your nominee didn't have the same keen eye that you have, because this thing is likely to be a pretty bad hit for the repubs..

I'm not gonna say that every person in the dem party is angelic, but I can say that the acts of one messed up person who just happened to be open about supporting their candidate should definitely not be used to reflect on the party as a whole. Think you'd agree.
