107. It is "horrific" that an innocent child died because of family squabble over a car. Some cities have more violent crimes than others and Chicago is a city that has a very high murder rate. Why are so many people like let out of jail/prison to become repeat offenders. I agree with what someone said earlier about the parole board being at lease partially at fault for these criminals being set free to have a second chance to commit a violent crime. I have four beautiful children and if anyone ever did this to one of them, I would want the killer permanately off the streets so they would never have another chance. The responsible party deserves the death penalty.

I do not see why as a countr ywe cannot get back tothe death penalty. It is used by some state sometimes, but even ther e not al lof the time.

BTW others here, the anti-death penalty, I am Black American ,Catholic a native Californian,. This is how I feel and I do not care who and what color you areif you doa sex criems or clod blooded killingof innocent people. Drug dealers killingdrug dealers, life in prison. We do not need these details about this innocent child's horrific murder... Okay, I am actually in college studying criminal justice, and it may cost more to kill some people than to have others in jail for life, but this is USUALLY not the case. It depends mostly on the age of the criminal and how long they are going to be behind bars. Also, if you have ever seen footage of a prison you know that they have to care for inmates who are old and need extensive medical care. Caring for someone in their 80's or 90's who needs constant medication, care by nurses and oxygen is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!

ANY PERSON WHO CLAIMS THAT KILLING SOMEONE IS ALWAYS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN LEAVING THEM IN PRISON IS NOT CONSIDERING ALL OTHER FACTORS INVOLVED.

In this case, this murdering **** is young, so keeping him in prison for 60+ years will cost WAY more than killing him.

Also, have any of you been to prison? A lot of people here are assuming that he is automatically going to get his *** kicked and be tortured, which is not the case at all! Because he is sort of a celebrity now they will probably keep him in solitary for most of the time, or give him his own room if his life is threatened. Plus our prison systems are overcrowded as it is.

I respect everyone's opinions regarding the death penalty but it makes me really mad when people get the facts wrong when they don't really even know what they are talking about.

This family will not recieve justice until this man takes his last breath as far as I am concerned.

115. Jails are overcrowed with people like him. This guy was on parole for an attempted murder before, so to congratulate him, the justice in this country decided to give him a second chance. AND NOW HERE ARE THE RESULTS. I agree with death penalty 200%. If someone KILLS another human being regardless of the circunstances he should be killed the same way he killed the person. If a man rapes, just have castrate him. In the city I live in, about 8-10 years ago a guy (good looking by the way) raped and slaughted a 10 year old kid and then he buried his body near his house, well after all these years the guy is still waiting for a sentence, meanwhile he is alive, eating OUR TAX $$$$$. Let's kill all those bastards....Vote for the DEATH PENALTY

116. this is such a sad horrible thing that could have happened to anyone. All based on the bad choice one mother made. That said, i feel she has paid the ultimate price. So i do feel sorry for her and all of the family. But the SOB of her husband needs to die a slow painful middle eastern death. NOTHING QUICK. That was a child , less than 10 years old. Innocent in all of this and he died based on bad choices his parent made . What else could be said
