She's not in a pub or wreaking havoc on the streets, so where is Amy Winehouse? In a hospital, of course.
So says her rep, who says Wineheezy is in the hospital after being admitted for a possible chest infection. She was hospitalized for a severe lung problem back in June -- some reports said emphysema -- and doctors wanted to make sure it hadn't returned.
She should be released today. As for reports she's in rehab, her beleaguered rep says not true.

17. I agree with #1. I think with all the hospital stays from infections and the sores on her skin could be a sign of her having AIDS. Damn shame what drugs can do to you!!!!

19. Does anyone see that this woman is DYING?? Family and friends that are close to her should be doing something!! She needs love & help.....before it's too late!! She looks awful.......I'm praying for you Amy.

20. Emphysema is not something you get, get better from and have it come back again. Once you have it , you will always have it, there is no cure. However it is highly unlikely that Amy has this disease and if she does chances are it is in it's early phase. This condition is chronic and people live with it for years. I guess if you smoked crack all day long for a couple years and chaned smoked as well you could get a more advanced case. She may have been born with a tendency to lung disease. I know too many crack heads who smoke who do not have Emphysema. There is something else going on here. I have never seen a uglier sick woman in my life. If she continues on this way , they may as well take her out back and perevent the slow agonizing torture she is puttting herself through and her family. I can't even stand to look at her, she looks like she just stepped out of the night of the living dead. Gross!

21. One (very late ) point I have to make is that Amy is an addict and she does flake at concerts and people say she is terrible at the ones she shows up to, but at least Amy does not lip sync. That is more to be said than for all of nose-jobbed Ashlee Simpsons out there. When Amy can, she tries to deliver. No matter how bad she may sound.
I just find this sad because I love both of her albums and I am saddened to see that because of addictions that she may never release another album (wether she lives ofr not). What was left of her voice has been shot out and I just wish at this point she world work on herself. The comparison photo from four year ago that TMZ posted says it all. She was once a lovely young woman with the world be the teeth and she has blown it.
I totally cannot blame Amy herself because this is what addition is all about. I should know, because I am a former addict. It's is a daily struggle and not always one that is easy to deal with. I just hope that Amy gets the trash out of her life and starts to tcommit working on herself.
