Celebrity Justice
Balfour Has Anger Management Issues

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ why officials believe William Balfour violated his parole -- he had missed anger management counseling and substance abuse courses that were required as a condition of his release from prison.

Balfour had served time for attempted murder and carjacking. The anger management lapse is ominous, given that he's a "person of interest" in the murders of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew. As for the substance abuse courses, the Chicago Sun-Times quotes a witness as saying they saw a man resembling Balfour exiting the infamous white SUV "carrying what appeared to be a bottle of liquor."

Several law enforcement sources tell us Balfour could be charged in the murders as early as today, but no timetable is definite.

16. Unfortunately, Illinois' moratorium, the only one in the country, was imposed by former Gov. George Ryan, a Republican, in 2000. Ryan sparked a national furor when he commuted the death sentences of all 167 Illinois inmates on death row before leaving office in 2003, citing a state investigation that uncovered police corruption and racial bias in the state's capital punishment system. The Illinois Legislature has passed several reform measures intended to persuade current Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich to lift the moratorium, but he has said the system is far from fixed.

17. Look at him. What a dirt bag. I can't beleive Jennifer's family would allow such trash as this guy in the house. And why didn't her mother and family..especially with a little boy so vulnerable to that trashy neighborhood...move out of there when Jennifer made the offer. Not very bright I guess.

20. If the conditions of his release were not met, they WHY was he released to begin with? Had the authorities followed their own requirements, then these people would still be alive today.

21. Put him in public view (a large cage) so people can walk by him all day and tell him what they really think of him. That would be the best thing for him so he can really think about what he did.

30. As a response to #16

"And why didn't her mother and family..especially with a little boy so vulnerable to that trashy neighborhood...move out of there when Jennifer made the offer. Not very bright I guess."

What did the neighborhood have to do with this? Absolutely nothing!!! She successfully raised most of her children in that neighborhood and the MONSTER would have been wherever the family was, Hollywood, Florida, Georgia. He was married to the idiot daughter. This was not a random act of violence, he married into the family. #FACT#
