The Rich Life!
Howard's New Home -- Far from a HoJo

No, that's not the living room inside the Taj Mahal -- it's the new Florida palace of Orlando Magic star, Dwight Howard.

The 22-year-old baller just bought this nearly $8 million mansion, which has five bedrooms, five baths, billiard room, walk-thru butler's pantry, Italian marble floors and "30' gold travertine arches at courtyard." And get this -- the pool has its own "lazy river."

The house sits on a the so-called "Street of Dreams" in Longwood, Fla. -- and if you have a couple extra mil laying around, the ridiculous house next door is for sale.

25. I don't wanna sound cheap and TOTALLLY understand its his money, he earned it but couldn't he buy like a $3 mil house, donate like half a mil to St. Jude Hospital, and just keep the rest in the bank....$8 mil for a house whether you are a millionaire or not is ridiculous....Just the taxes and upkeep of the house will hurt him!

27. WOW..... 8 million for that house!!! IF that house were in BC canada, it would cost over $30 million!!!! 8 million would buy you a decent house in Vancouver, but nothing like that!!!!!!!! You guys really don't know how lucky you are!!!

28. Quote #10... obviously you've never been to Vancouver! All the mansions in West Vancouver are side by side - (like 10 feet apart) They are all 8,000 sq foot houses on 12,000 sq ft. lots. no trees, no backyards, paved front yards... they are ug UGLY!!... but still people pay between 5 and 10 million to live in them... of course they're all from hong kong.

30. This is ridiculous. This is why professional sports will never see a dime of my money. You have the economy on the verge of a major recession (if it hasn't happened already) and you have these professional players spending money like water. Only to watch their sorry asses go into bankruptcy 5 years later. And they are horrible role models. Sorry, if I you want to get your fill of sports, get your lazy asses of the chair and toss the ball around with some friends or family.
