19. keanu is responsible for any injuries............BUT.....................i can bet 1,000,000 dollars that jack ass pap was standing where he should not be standing...................no matter what, he hit the pap by accident and he is responsible by law....
even with camaras recording the situation .. you are still at fault if you hit a pedestrian................. i wonder if getting bonded would simply place a cap on the $$$$$$ that you could get sued if you where a celebrity??? anyone???? but its pretty lame that he is getting sued.. i bet his lawyers tried to settled the dispute and the pap refused......... this is an example of why keanu does not have his main residence in the the usa...............looks like nick cage might also move out of the usa...

20. WEll you shouldn't of been blocking Keanu's path to leave. If someone is blocking my way out, I would ask them to move and then run their butts over if they didn't. To me that's harrassment and impeding my right to leave. Could that then be called a form of kidnapping? not allowing you to leave?
There should be laws in place that a pap cannot come into contact with thier subjects closer than 200 feet. That would make it safer for everyone and with long sight lenses (zooms) on the cameras these days it still allows for their all important shots. It's gonna take someone getting run over and killed though before the courts will do it.

21. The photog deliberately put himself in harms way, and he deserves what he got. The photog should take responsibility for his actions. These things have been happening with photogs, and there should be a law preventing them from getting too close to moving vehicles or blocking traffic. The photog had no right to block the rightful flow of traffic. The photog should be sued or charged for violating the mobility rights and freedoms of Mr. Reeves or public mischief at least.

24. I've always thought..if you don't want to get ran over by a car...don't stand in front of a moving car!!!!!! These paps are a bunch of f-ing morons...they won't even let the guys drive his car and when he bumps into them, they try to get a payday out of it!!!!
