17. I doubt very seriously there will be finger prints on that gun. The best evidence they Might get out of this is finding who it is registered to, if it matches with other crimes. There's a lot of stuff this gun may tell them but I highly doubt the killer's would be That dumb to leave finger prints...would they??

Someone is making it easy to solve these murders that's fo sho.....kill 3 people and the just toss the gun in the nearest empty lot....but then again..it beats getting caught with it on your body! Dumb enough to just toss it out = not smart enough to wear gloves....let's hope it's a slam-dunk case! Whatchya think Georgia Boy?

21. #19 Doubt that the gun is legally registered. Most guns used in crimes are not. Hope they can get a print and make an arrest.

22. Well I guess they don't watch CSI in the ghetto. I know the whole thing is sad, but are people really that stupid to toss the gun that close by? For all we know at this point, Julia was a part of the whole thing to kill the brother and mother and the kid saw it all leading to him getting murdered. When Julian was killed, Julia took the gun and tossed it into the yard..

Just saying people... Don't hate me for putting a new twist on the situation..

23. The government did it. They did it to frame a fine, upstanding young citizen who otherwise had a life of success and prosperity to look forward to. Everyone in his family is proof of what strong character and honesty can provide our country.
When will the government quit keeping such wonderful, law abiding citizens down? I didn't need 20 years of sitting in the front pew to get the message ... Cruel, unethical treatment of inner-city angels, pure and simple.

25. That gun could belong to just about anyone. There are so many murders in Chicago, there's no telling who that gun belongs to. But I hope they find out because if it's not the Hudson's maybe they could break another case.

Police have confirmed they've found a gun in a vacant lot around the corner from where Jennifer Hudson's nephew was found dead inside an SUV.

Deputy Chief Nick Roti says officers performing a grid search on Wednesday found a weapon in thick shrubs. He says the Illinois State Police crime lab for further testing.

Roti also says some "small bits of evidence" were recovered, but he didn't elaborate and didn't take questions.

28. I hope they find a ton of prints on it. I still feel that Julia had a hand in this. Now reading she was busted in the drug raid with those other guys. So much for keeping her son protected from the "evils" of the world...
