The mother of William Balfour -- the "person of interest" in the murder of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew -- was a guest on "Nancy Grace" last night. Like any good mother, she had a perfectly good reason for everything people are saying William did.

32. It's people like this that will benefit from an Obama presidency. They can go around blaming everyone else for their troubles and never taking any responsibility for their own actions. And then they can get a "paycheck" from the government for doing nothing all day while honest people go to work. This is a simple case of never being able to evole.

33. I don't know this women or her son, but based on what I have seen and heard, I find them to be very sad.
I think it is a good thing for a mother to stick up for her chilren when she thinks they are being wronged, but in some instances it is hard to believe even a mother could find good in their child and this is one of them. She wants to point out he got his GED and studied horticulture, but that doesn't make him a better person, unless he used it when he got out to get a job or go to college. I don't see any evidence of that being the case here. She says he is not violent and it was only because the guy jumped on top of the car that he started speeding and could have killed the man, but that is an act of violence making him a violent man. A non-violent person would have walked away. And he was stealing a car, how do you condone that??
It is mothers like this who justify everything wrong their children do and make it hard for them to become productive citizens. I think every person who becomes pregnant needs to go to a parenting class to be taught some common sense ways of dealing with bad behavior. Maybe then there would be less crime and violence.

35. O.k. First off if you are going to get on National TV and try and defend your son you should atleast pretend like you have some sense. THis woman sounded like a complete idiot. Here is my thing I am all for trying to see the good in Situations and people when thigs go wrong but, come on attempted Muder, Car jacking, Guns, Crack, Prison you tell me the good in any of that.. oh wait I remember he got his GED and studied horticulture in PRISON ! Wow... that makes it all better! But what is even worse that is all the women could find good to say about her son. how sad is that! Lets Face it lady You raised a Gun toeting, crack smoking, car stealing, Killer. The epitemy (i think i spelled that right) of BAD PARENTING, When asked what his alibye was after telling nancy Grace that "he did not do it" he had an alibye; you proceed to make a fool of yourself once more bye saying or should i say backpeddling when you say "well my oldest son said" BLA BLA BLA ..... Oh and then in the same sentaence you say " my son was not raised to be disrepectful" but he is still married and has two girlfriends yeah that is not disrespectful... In all Honesty They should Give your Son the death penalty and not make him wait. Put him on the fast track and kill him the way he killed that innocent child. Then the world would have one less killer and we would be better off. so i hope that you can sleep at night knowing what your son did to this Wonderful family and i hope that you feel good about the fact that you single handedly raised him to be what he is. I guess i would have more sympothy for her if she had done what a normal mother would have done. and that is say something along the lines of... my thought are with the family and my son.. i do not know happend but i know that i love my son and i am here for him... NOT he did not do it... i know cause my oldest son said he was with his girlfriend ( who are probably hores anyway)

41. First of all, wasn't he on parole for attempted murder? I'm sorry, I'm not buying it. I understand that it is her son, and a mothers love should know no boundaries, but with his record already you can't believe a damn thing he says. I truely believe that justice will get its turn and that whoever it was that did this to the Hudson family will burn in hell. I pray that whoever it was will get the death penalty. Bring him down here to Texas and we will show you what we do with people like that.
