Nancy Grace Goes 1-On-1 With Balfour's Mom

The mother of William Balfour -- the "person of interest" in the murder of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew -- was a guest on "Nancy Grace" last night. Like any good mother, she had a perfectly good reason for everything people are saying William did.

106. OMG, did Balfour's mother just say Killa the hun?!?!?! And studying horticulture in jail? What a good boy. Hey mom, maybe that's to grow pot when he gets home? Ever think of that? What a bunch of lowlife, uneducated, drug dealing gangsters. They should all just keep their mouths shut for the sake of the families, the investigation and what's left of Jennifer Hudson's career.

108. My question could it be possible that the child was picked up outside the home by someone he knew and was killed first. Which might be why he left willingly. And then the killer or killers went back to the house and murdered the mother and her son then left and dropped the gun, then parked the car near the school to get away quickly. Because no one saw or heard anything near the home. Can they tell if the child was murdered first.

109. As the mother of a teenage son, I know how difficult it can be to raise them alone. Although I talked to my son, starting at a very young age, about the dangers of drugs and alcohol he still chose his own path. Ours was not a house where there were partys with drugs and alcohol and my son was never subjected to that type of life style. We had always had an open communication rule and if there was ever anything he needed to talk to me about he would always come to me. Now, though, he has been arrested for DUI and 2 possession charges. We can teach our children right from wrong but ultimately the decision is up to them. I actually spoke to the DA and encouraged them to NOT to be easy on him, but because it was his first offense they dropped the possession charges and he pled guilty to the DUI charge. I thought that it would possibly teach him something that evidently I couldnt if the screwed up system we call our " justice system" came down hard on him. So our problems are not simply that of the parents although that is wher it starts, but the courts need to stop letting these hardened criminals out on the street without some type of rehabilitation. With the recidivism rates going through the roof and babies having babies and not having a clue how to take care of them when they havent been taken care of properly themselves, our country is only going to get worse. I agree with everyone here. They need to forego the trial, save the tax payers some money, put all the hardened criminals who can not or will not be rehabilitated on a island and let them kill each other. Because once they are released thats exactly whats going to happen.
