67. These comments are absolutely insane....There have been several incidents against the Obama campaign that have gone unnoticed. He's getting death threats, ppl at the McCain Palin rally's are yelling "kill him", making references to Osama Bin laden saying Obama Bin Lyin, the fake attack on the crazy girl and several Obama hangings throughout the campaign. I don't condone the action but to say that black ppl would riot if it were Obama is rediculous. I AM BLACK, Obama is not 6% black he is Black and White there is no percentage. Let's put it this way, I have alot of respect for John McCain and all he's been through for our country, I have respect for Sarah Palin aceepting the position they have placed her in, however McCain's views are your typical republican banter and throughout his campaign I have heard nothing but shots at Obama, but what i have heard from Obama are sound plans to try to help our country for the future not just political gain for himself. Do you honestly want someone in office that doesn't remember that he has 13 houses, doesn't use a computer or surf the internet. These are all things we use in today's society. I mean these are not the things that qualify him obviously, but he just seems so out of touch with today's world.

72. Two people were arrested today for the effigy of obama. Why not arrest the person of the palin effigy. What i dont understand is that the blacks are always whining about racism. The blacks have United negro college fund, black colleges. BET channel, black marches, black beauty pageants, black magazines i could go on and on. What i have mentioned is only for black people only. This is RACIST. how do they get away with this. Al sharpton, Jesse jacson, and the NCAAP

73. For comment #3. There was an Obama dummy hung from a tree at one of the universities in my state. They found the people who done it and arrested them on the spot and they were charged with Conduct 2nd, Burglary 2nd, and theft by unlawful taking. Other words you are correct. They are making a BIG deal of this. Now it should only be fair that they do something with the couple it the above story.

Not going berserk but am angered, as a woman, that those despicable incidents you raised of Obama effigies are being investigated as hate crimes, but the mayor asks nicely for the Palin effigy to be removed and the sheriff says it's only a hate crime when it happens to Obama.

Women have been treated pretty badly throughout time and in this country as well. In fact, women (The Nineteenth Amendment – 1920) didn’t get the right to vote until after people of color (The Fifteenth Amendment – 1870).

So yeah, maybe we haven’t come a long way baby. Because this shows me, we have so much further to go.

You can despise Palin’s beliefs, and exercise your right and not vote her ticket. However, you should treat her with the same respect you would treat anyone including yourself.
