I want to vote for Obama so bad but it's comments and thoughts like yours that are making me reconsider. How is it any better for you to accuse the entire white population of racism? And second, if Obama makes it, which I think he will, it's because a lot of the "white" population voted for him too. So are you telling me I should "bow down" to blacks and then vote for a black president? It's not our fault that our ancestors did these things. I agree it was wrong, but that was how many years ago?? I know its still an issue but see it always will be an issue. It's up to us to decide how much of an issue we will let it be. I am white and I just don't think like some of the ignorant people out there and I don't judge anybody. I see an issue of racism on a daily basis where I live. Involving all cultures. But what can you do? You think you are going to be able to change a 60-year old man's views on the world ?

52. I am writing to express my displeasure about Kelly's so called joke about someone confusing The Donkey of the democrats with "Dominicans". It was a corny joke first of all and one with bad taste. Kelly and her writers should know better than that. It sounds to me like there is some kind of racism in that corny punchline. I am a 25 year old Dominican-American college student and I will say that the joke was very disrespectful. I believe that a public apology on the show should be made and the "air" should be cleared so this cannot happen in the future. Dominicans are much more than baseball players and drug dealers. We have accomplished actors, authors, fashion designers and so forth

And to all the jackasses that feel it wasn't a bad joke, here's one:

The other day my 4 year old godson did the cutest thing. We were on the train and he was eating his ritz crackers. He actually went up to a white person and said "Hi, do you want a cracker?". It was so adorable. Take it however you want. Yea it was corny and it was right in the realm of what Kelly did. She should have known it may be taken in bad taste. So she shouldnt have risked it. I know I wouldnt have. This video clip was posted on a very popular blog seen by dominicans here in the USA and all over the island. I'm very sure that no one took it lightly.
