Protest Over Ass Comment on "Regis and Kelly"

A donkey might be a good symbol for the Democratic Party, but that doesn't mean Dominicans want to be compared to one on national TV.

Here's what went down. Kelly Ripa told a story on Monday about how one of her 37 kids was learning about government and said the elephant represented the Republicans and the donkey represented the Dominicans. Regis then quipped, "She's pretty close." Ay, caramba!

A Dominican-American group is demanding an apology from the show, claiming "host Regis Philbin practically agreed with laughter over what the two thought was a joke."

Dominican-American and Latino leaders will stage a protest outside the ABC studios tomorrow in NYC where the show airs.

Tomato, tomahto, Democrat, Dominican -- let's call the whole thing off!

You shouldn’t let what other people say sway you vote. That’s something you’re going to have to dig deep inside yourself to find the answer as to who you’re going to elect president of the United States. You should vote for the man you feel is going to direct this country in the right direction. No matter how is elected our taxes are going to be raised Obama stated he’s not going to raise taxes for anyone who make under $250,000 dollars and McCain didn’t state how much he’s going to hit our pockets for but he will. Not all African American’s are going to vote Obama I was voting for my Hilary until she dropped out of the race and I am educated I was just ranting to prove a point I’m actually up studying right now. God bless us all.

And as for you Mrs. Marie in DC you need some anger management classes you have such rage in your words can’t take it but you folks can dish it out how ironic. When Blacks defend their selves we’re dumb idiots, not so. To be honest what I stated is what some African Americans and other races really think and actually say that is why I have been a youth director for the last 10 years proving a point that we need to all be unified and stop the hate. This was a platform to see what people really think and feel about other races. I wasn’t shock. God bless you and yours.

The only think is that we deserve an explanation because it can be interpret by too much ways.
