Report: Julian's Body Covered, Hidden

181. The shower curtain could be a clue....it would have come from somebody's house. Seems like somebody would be able to recognize it (Balfour's girlfriend neighbors may have been in her house) or possibly it could have come from the Hudson home. Also, if it was vinyl they should be able to get fingerprints.

My theory: If the killer was looking for drugs; maybe they shot the mother entering the house, Jason ran downstairs to see what was going on when he was confronted by the killer demanding drugs from Jason. He was shot in the leg at this point but managed to go upstairs to get the key to his SUV where he kept the drugs then the killer finished him off after getting the key. He must have grabbed Julian on his way out. Jason, William and Julian's father were all in the Gangster Disciples which is notorious for selling drugs and violence. I think William is responsible (with possibly help from gang members) because he had an ax to grind. On Nancy Grace last night, they said he had an argument with Jason a week or so ago and threatened to kill him. Maybe when he was arguing with Julia that morning about the car she may have threatened him with something she had on him that would send him back to jail and he snapped.

182. If it was drug related, there would be no REASON to take the child from the house! Most drug murders usually ends up killing everyone in the house. There was no reason to take the child & place him in the SUV shoot him there then, park the car by Balfours new girlfriend house, & toss the murder weapon in the same area. Balfour was definitely set up! Julia most definately had an ax to grind. She probably snapped after spending her BIRTHDAY with Balfour the night before only to find out he's back in the arms of the other woman.

This crime has Julia written all over it. Another thing if it was drug related, why wasn't the house destroyed? Drug lords would have torn that house up from top to bottom looking for their drugs or their money. Since the door wasn't kicked in, somebody that went to that door was familiar to the family. DID ANYONE NOTICE THE KEY PAD SYSTEM (BLACK) ON THE FRONT DOOR? Please look at the pictures. So whomever went into that house, they knew that code or had a key. I just wonder when they shot through the door, did the person or people ring the bell to get someone to come to the door and ask "who is it"? Then shot through the door? Jason heard the shots came downstairs and was shot in the leg?? If Jason was shot in the back of the leg, then that means the murderer was already inside the house and going after Jason, because the mother at that point was shot.

This is not drug related, it's personal and it's vindictive. I feel it's between both Julia & William.

185. Everyone is blaming julia, why? People can be so harsh and ignorant when tragedy's like this happen! So what she fell in love with a convict, she can't spell good or she is not crying enough. People are different in many ways, Some people don't cry or they return to normal activities. It doesn't mean she doesn't care about her family dead. I was thinking at first why wouldn't Jennifer move her family out of there, then I realized SHE doesn't have to or her family loved living there. There are so many different reasons why people do things and say things , THATS MAYBE WHY WE LIVE IN AMERICA!
Freedom, Freedom! We should be focused on THE KILLER who did this terrible crime. We should put all hate towards him and his actions ! Let this woman (Julia) be left alone she has enough going on in this world now! I have to agree with you, except i do not think it is jealously. They do not value life, but are quick to throw out the race card and i'm sick of hearing it. Gangs come from all races and nations. I doubt any small child grows up thinking they want to be a thug - children live what they learn, and they learn by what they see. The root of the gang issue runs much deeper, and perhaps we need to be focusing more on what we can do to help and encourage these children when they are young - by showing them they have choices and helping them, instead of villianizing them because of where they live - or the color of their skin.

Every child has potential - and if we as a nation, as a HUMAN family do not help them realize that potential, then where does the failure truly lie...

A better question would be how do you know Julia is guilty? No, I wasn't there and neither were you. If comments I made sound familiar is because I may have made them in earlier post or some others feel the same way I do. Everyone is entitiled to there opinion mine is "if Julia is guilty of anything it's making poor choices" or did she? We all have to wait on the details to see.

191. I have been reading different sites and trying to catch the news on television since this story broke on 10/24. This is my first time EVER commenting on any site, but there have been alot of things that don't make sense to me either.

I have seen a couple of comments on this site and one other about a report that Julian's hand(s) was cut off. Can someone tell me who is the source of this comment or is this another "theory" that someone has put out there??

The only reason to remove a body part would be to delay identification of the victim, OR if that body part had some type of evidence on it (i.e. skin or other DNA evidence) that the killer doesn't want found.

I also read a few days ago that Julian supposedly also had been beaten in the head, and had been shot in each temple (not the back of the head).

I too believe that if no one heard the child screaming as he was taken from the home then one of the following may have happened:

1) Since there was no school on Friday, maybe he woke up after hearing the shots and he saw the killer(s) and they maybe hit him in the head a few times with the gun and carried him out to the car unconscious and he was shot later in the SUV

2) He heard the shots, saw the killer(s), they tried to grab him and maybe he tried to get away and scratched them(which would explain why they would cut off his hand(s) if that part is true), then they hit him in the head and took him out the house and shot him later in the SUV

3) He left the house willingly with someone he knew (which is why no one heard him screaming) either before or after they shot his Uncle and Grandmother and then he was shot later in the SUV because he could identify who he left the house with and when

Also, was it ever confirmed that Jason was found in HIS bedroom or A bedroom? Is it possible that after Jason was shot initially through the door, Darnell came into the living room maybe screaming Julian's name, and they shot her. Meanwhile maybe Jason made it to Julian's room to try to protect him and they finished Jason off in Julian's room, which would explain why they found shell casings in Julian's room but are stating that Julian was most likely shot and killed in the SUV?

Also, Julia's news conference didn't seem on the up and up to me, and I had initially only seen maybe a 45 second clip of it on the news. The MySpace activity definately seems strange. Also, if she returned home why is it that she didn't see the bullet holes in the door before she unlocked the door and opened it to find her Mother lying there dead? So we should believe that she didn't see one or more bullet holes in the door as she walked up the steps, unlocked the door (the killer(s) were courteous enough to lock the door when they left?), walked in and saw her Mother dead on the floor and then left back out and closed the door behind her and called 911 on her cell and then went to the Police station in person to report her Son and the SUV missing????

Here are my questions on that:

*How did she get to and from work that day?
*Why is it that no one reported hearing HER screaming when she discovered her Mother's body?
*It is reported that the Police arrived at the house within minutes of receiving the call that her Mother was lying on the
floor, so how was Julia already gone from the house and at the Police station reporting Julian missing that quickly and
how did she get to the Police station?
*Why didn't she wait for the Police to arrive after calling 911?

Is it possible she never even went back to the house, just made the 911 call from some place else and went straight to the Police station because she already knew exactly where her Mother's body was and that Julian wasn't there because she was there earlier???

Willaim Balfour:

*If William did this, why would he just be sitting at the girlfriend's house that night, knowing the SUV, gun and Julian's body
were all within the same vicinity that he's in and that his car was within a few blocks of the murder scene on the South side? When he stole that car years ago and was driving around with the owner hanging on top and the Police chasing him he tried to get away, but he's going to hang around for hours after he's committed a triple homicide??? Do you know how far away he could have gotten in 8-10 hours. You have the Bishop Ford, I-57 and the Eisenhower expressway all within minutes of all these locations and he wasn't smart enough to hit the road? And do you really think he's going to do a triple (or at the least a double) homicide on the same day that he has a meeting with his Parole officer. He misses the meeting and knows that the PO is going to be looking for him, so he decides to wipe out his Wife's family on that particular day to teach Julia a lesson after supposedly recently threatening (in front of witnesses) to kill her family and/or take Julian away from her??? And why would he take Julian and the SUV away from the crime scene just to later shoot Julian and leave his body in the truck? Why didn't he just kill Julian and leave the SUV at the house? Why give the CPD, State Police and FBI a reason to be searching for you? I don't think so!!!!

Why wouldn't he do his meeting on Friday with the PO, then maybe wipe out everybody (including Julia), late Friday night and then hit the road. Since he's a GD, they would have had no problem getting him out of town and hiding him for a looooooooong time. He could have driven his own car and parked it a few blocks away and walked to the house. Hell, he could have even taken the EL for that matter. He would have had a much easier time killing them in middle of the night because they would have been sleep or very much caught off guard. Everybody knows that it is highly unlikely that no one would call the Police after hearing gunshots in Englewood(sad, but soooo true!!). His PO wouldn't be looking for him any time soon since he would have gone to the meeting. Since he lived in the house, any half way decent court appointed defense attorney could have explained away most of William's DNA evidence that may have been found in the home. He could have had a decent chance of beating a murder rap if they ever officially charged him. That would make more sense if William did this.

If this was about him being mad at Julia's family for throwing him out and about a car why does he wait until October? According to accounts, Darnell threw him out for the last time last winter or some accounts have said May of this year and he is living with his pregnant girlfriend. He still had HIS car, so why would he kill her family??

Honestly, I don't believe that William did this, but I COULD be wrong. If he is the shooter, then maybe he did Jason and Darnell, but I don't think he did Julian. I COULD be wrong again, but I get the feeling that he was maybe more of a parental figure (in his own thug life little way) than Julia was. I'm basing that on what I saw on his and Julia's MySpace pages, how Julia talked about Julian at the full news conference footage that I saw and some accounts of what neighbors and relatives have said in interviews. So again, I COULD be completely wrong with the information I have seen.

Even William's Mother, as "ghetto" as she has been coming across, said some interesting things to Nancy Grace, besides proclaiming her Son's innocence:

*She told Nancy that William treated Julia's Mother better than he treated her - what Mother would admit that to anyone, let alone a national audience on a cable television program unless it was true, or atleast she feels it is true??
*She said that she told William back in June when he got stopped with the baggy of cocaine that Julia had planted that in his car and not the Police (he had just left the Hudson house when he was pulled over)
*She also was the one who spilled the beans that William was out with Julia on her birthday the night before the murders. Julia only said that she was with "friend(s)" and Julian
*His Mother says that William and Julia still loved each other and that they were still "together"

I'm not saying that William was a Saint. He did do 7 years for the carjacking and attempted murder. He's been out for 2yrs, working as a baker in a restaurant down town, and has stayed out of enough trouble as far as getting busted for doing something to get his parole reversed. Now, I do believe he was probably selling drugs in addition to working his job. But the fact that he had the job leads me to believe that atleast he was trying to do just enough to keep from being hounded by his PO and sent back to jail. So I do believe part of the statement attributed to Julia Hudson where she is trying to explain that she never took William's alleged threats to harm her family seriously because she didn't think he would act on them because she "knew" that he "did not want to jeopardize going back to jail". But, we should believe that he is still sleeping with Julia, spends her birthday with her and Julian, yet he's going to show up at her house the next morning and wipe out her immediate family because she called to yell at him about her check being garnished over the car. Then he just hangs around at his girlfriends house (where he has reported that he is living and that the parole officer has gone to before to conduct an un-announced in home visit) to wait for the police to show up to talk to him about a double murder and kidnapping???? Just doesn't add up to me.

And finally, Julia gave the Police a description of what Julian was wearing the "last time she saw him", but those were not the clothes he was found in. She said at the press conference that she handed Julian off to her Mother and then "they" all went to bed. As if to say that she didn't go out of the house anymore that night. So why wouldn't she know that he had on different clothing?

I am the single Mother of a 5 year old on the South side of Chicago. Even after I put my child to bed at night, I look in on my child several times before I go to sleep just to make sure my baby hasn't kicked the covers off or has put the blanket over her face. And don't let me think I heard a strange noise, I am making a beeline for her room.

Even if her Mother was the one who took Julian to his room and put him to bed (very trifling of Julia as a Mother that she can't even put her own Son to bed at night), you mean she never went into his room later that night (to check on him or even give him a kiss on the cheek) or the following morning before she left for work???

So either she is just very trifling for not knowing that he had on different clothing, or she deliberately gave the police the wrong description of what he had on when she made the missing persons report. I don't believe that whoever killed Darnell and Jason (whether it was William, Julia, Gregory or the unknown drug dealers) initially meant for Julian to die also, otherwise I don't believe he would have ever been taken from the house. I think whatever the plan was, went wrong and the need for the killer(s) to completely remove all suspicions from themselves, they made a decision that their freedom meant more than Julian's life.

193. I've been doing some research on this situation and a few things have struck me as odd. For anyone whose been following this case on TMZ and reading the comments, I'm sure you're familiar with my theory concerning Jula's Involvement. I've tried to be non-judgemental towards Jula and look at this situation objectively. I've realized, however, that the maternal part of me will not allow it.

When I read a couple of days ago that Julian's hand was severed before he was murdered, something came over me that was both unfamiliar and frightening. I fell on my knees and cried for this child who spent the last days of his life suffering in the most inhumane way. My heart ached for this child who at the tender age of 7, witnessed the murder of the person he probably loved more than anyone in the world. During the news conference, Julia stated that Julian was inpatient during her birthday because he wanted to go home. Something's wrong when a child doesn't even want to spend a few hours with his mother. At the age of 7, Julian should've been a mama's boy, maybe even both a mama/grandmama's boy. Children have very good instincts and can tell when they're loved and wanted. For some reason Julian didn't want to be with her and her responses during the press conference validated that the maternal bond was lacking.

There are some people on this board who've been critical about my not feeling sorry for Julia, and I'll explain my reason in a moment. I've been quite emotional about this situation-I'm crying as I type this because for the life of me I just can't imagine why someone would cut that child's hand off while he was still alive. . What did Julian do to deserve this? Many of us can hardly tolerate the pain of a needle, but for this baby to have suffered like this, and why? Why did he have to pay for the poor decisions of his mother? Each time I think about that little boy and how scared he must have been on that Friday. Each time I think about the loneliness and overwhelming sorrow he must have felt upon witnessing the murders of his grandmother and uncle. Each time I think about the pain he must have felt when they cut his hand off. Each time I think about the fear he must have felt when they pointed the gun to his head. Each time I think about how many times he must have screamed, cried, and wondered "WHY ME?" Each time I think about Julian,I know there's no way I can ever feel sorry Julia.
