32. I agree with #6 and #20. The world is full of angry hateful people. I hope the 2 sisters can help each other and I hope there is a loving group of people who are surrounding them and helping them to heal. I hope that they don't read these blogs...

Theory 1: Julia Hudson's Involvement
There are too many holes in this story:
1) The body of Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson was found by Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia around 2:45 PM Friday.

2) Friday was a teacher's work day in Chicago. Therefore, children did not report. Julia is a school bus driver. Why was she working then?

For #25 - I agree with you, the finding of the SUV containing the body of one of the murder victims, then the murder weapon itself, in such close proximity to a place where William Balfour was regularly known to stay, is just a bit too "convenient" of a way to implcate him. And, also remember that he wasn't "hiding." He was easily located by police just about two hours after the news of the murders broke... at a place where he could easily be found. Doesn't make much sense that someone who had just committed a triple homicide and stolen one of the victim's vehicles wouldn't try to get as far away as he could, as quickly as possible.

Regardng testing his clothing for gunshot residue, Chicago media hasn't said anything further about that either. I have to assume that nothing was found, since the Chicago police have not yet charged him with any crime. Instead, they turned him over to Illinois State Police so he could be held on a technicality (procedural parole violation). The stuff that the media first put out, about his "parole violation" being the fact that he had become a murder suspect, was a bunch of junk.
He had been called only a "person of interest,' being held for questioning, not a "suspect." Parole violations can include missing scheduled meetings or classes specified in the parole agreement, or a reporting infraction... maybe he had neglected to inform his parole officer that he was no longer living with Julia and her mother, and so had not given the girlfriend's address as his current place of contact. In any case, authorities don't always lock up a person for infractions like this. My feeling is that using this option was just a way to (1) Ensure that he could be located in case police wanted to question him further as new information surfaced, and (2) Ensure that he would remain alive and unharmed for this purpose, since by Sunday, I'm sure police were already realizing that there were some big inconsistencies in the statements they were getting from others, so it was hard to predict who might do what to whom next. Had they found gunshot residue on his clothing, after two people with whom he'd had recent contact were found murdered, that would have been at last enough evidence to charge him while the full investigation continued. Ordinance here states that police cannot detain anyone for more than 48 hours unless a specific charge is filed. Transferring him to Joliet was a way to keep him available and alive while the rest of the story unfolded.

35. The cops did not discover the truck and the body separately. I think what they are trying to point out with the curtain is why somebody walking by wouldn't have noticed the body.

37. Okay, everybody, listen up:

Julia WAS the one who found the bodies - this just goes to show how she keeps switching the story around. It was first reported that she (Julia) found the bodies, then it went to this mysterious cousin.

Being that her brother, Jason, had to drive her around, due to her car being stolen by William, JUST HOW WAS JULIA GETTING AROUND ALL THAT DAY?

Finding out that this family was so entrenched in the GANG AFFILIATION / DRUG GAME, they make Keysha Coles' family look like saints.

This will also explain why THE FAMILY DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE. When your so involved in what going on, IT BECOMES VERY HARD TO SHAKE THAT 'HOOD MENTALITY'. That being the case, they didn't know how TO LEAVE IT. Which also brings me to the point that I've made before: Mothers / Grandmothers / Aunts / Sisters - THEY KNOW WHAT THESE THUGS ARE UP AND HALF THE TIME THEY ARE RIGHT THERE DOING THE SAME THINGS WITH THEM.

Jennifer, GET AS FAR AWAY FROM YOUR SO CALLED FAMILY ASAP. NOT ALL OF THEM HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART.

38. For #35, Mindy - It's likely that no one walking by on the street would see the body anyway, since pictures show that all the side and back windows in the SUV had a very dark tint. The neighbor who called police after seeing the vehicle while walking his dog early Monday confirms this also. Julian's body was found on the floor of the back seat area, so it wouldn't be seen through the windshield either, since the front seats would have blocked the view. So I don't think that the curtain covering the body was a factor in whether or not the body could be seen through the windows.

Regarding the relative locations of the two neighborhoods.... they are about 15 miles apart. That's about a half hour drive if you use the expressway and traffic is in your favor, at least 45 minutes or more if you use regular city streets.

Please show us a reputable news link that says Julia found the bodies. And also where she keeps 'changing her story'.

How was Julia getting around that day? Nobody knows that I've seen (and I don't count wild speculation). I'm guessing the CPD has looked into that one. They are not obligated to release all of their info, nor should they. They are building a legal case.

I keep seeing the gang affiliation and drugs mentioned. I still see only one bust that took place 6 years ago. Is there more?

Speculation is all well and good, but this is just such a sad case.

41. It was also reported days later that JULIA is the one that came HOME FROM WORK and found the BODY not bodies. Walkedin, seen what she saw, walked out and called 911. Then went to the police station to report her son missing. Some of us have spent countless hours researching things for ourselves... you should give it a try :)

Like most of you I am horrifed and have a heavy heart. These senseless murders have to stop.God bless this family. Although, it has been reported in the media that the bodies were discovered by a cousin ...The Chicago-Suntimes article on 10/28/08(Julia Hudson, Husband argue over car payments) states that Julia Hudson returned home to find her mother and brother shot to death ....So who really discovered the bodies a cousin? or Julia most likely returning from work. At any rate this is a tragic situation

Everyother Magazine / some news are now starting to report this. US Magazine has HER as the one who arrived Home around 3:15-3:30PM and found her mother on the living room and then backed out of the house and called police.

Trust me, I've been following this thing and reading everything I can.

JULIA IS LYING AND THE POLICE WILL GIVE HER TIME TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL AND THEN I HOPE THEY BRING HER IN FOR QUESTIONING.
