A friend of the family was interviewed recently and he said, "... when I saw Jason a few weeks ago, I looked at him and said, 'man, you still here?"

95. I haven't seen the "shower curtain" reference either. Just "curtain" is mentioned in all the accounts I've read, which appear to have been taken from the Sun Times article.

Moving forward: Chicago Tribune reports today:

"Hudson's family, meanwhile, plans to hold a public memorial service Sunday at the Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist Church, located at 4526 South Greenwood Avenue for her mother, brother and nephew. The service will be open to the public from 4 to 7 p.m.

Neither the actress nor her sister, Julia, will attend, though other relatives will be present. "

96. Amen @ #83 & 85 ..... Agreed #88 Julia's involvement or non-involvement remains to be seen... It is just so bizarre Hopefully the murder(s) will be dealt with. I would hate to see these heinous crimes become cold cases like so many others.

100. While I might shout out - "I Told You So" - I won't be doing any dancing. This whole situation is just sooooo crazy.

Couple of murders here that involved husbands killing their wives. One argued with his wife that morning and by the afternoon they'd found her car on the side of the road w/ her purse still in it. Yes, the husband made his heart-feld plea, and WALLA - what do you you know: Both husbands ended up being the murderers.

Question: When are they going to arrest the mother of the missing girl in Florida? You know, the one who took like a whole month to even report the child missing. I'm sure that loving mother didn't do it, but I'm curious to know; have they caught the killer, yet?

102. I was recently viewing some pictures of the house where Jennifer’s mother and brother were murdered. The entrance to the house faces the road. I saw people walking up and down that street going about their daily business. It was reported that people heard gun shots between 8am and 9pm. I am very puzzled that no one saw anything. Unless if they went for cover until after the gun shots, because it was not like one shot, there were multiple shots. Someone must have heard the get away car. If the gun man fired through the door, was it the front door that faces the road that the shot was fired through that early in the morning. Something is not right and I believe that the family members and the people in the community knew what really happen. This brazen taking out of the whole family stinks of how the gangs and druggist behave. I hope that the police do not leave any stones unturned and check every angle. Anytime people get involved in gangs and drugs they put their family and friends at risk. This not only happen in the Southside of Chicago, it happens in the Caribbean and all over the world. I have heard of some cases where up to the baby on the breast they take out. I just hope that these young people come to the realization that the gangs, being a thug and drugs is not the right way and will only lead to their early demise. Jennifer needs to let the Southside remain in her past, her mother is gone and her father died when she was a teenager (I read that he was in the gang back in the days. I do not know how true this is), she just have to move forward. When I took Sociology in college, there was a topic that had to do with resocialization, where a person can undo the bad influences or bad behavior in their environment, by being in a positive and new environment with good influences. I hope that this will be for Jennifer, because we know that the drugs and the gang affiliation were right there in her home and directly or indirectly lead to the demise of her love ones.

The body found in a sports utility vehicle on Chicago's West Side Monday morning has been identified as Julian King, the 7-year-old nephew of Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson.

Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis confirmed the Hudson family's worst fears at a press conference Monday afternoon.

The 7-year-old's body was found in the back seat of a white Chevrolet Suburban that police had been looking for since Friday, when he went missing and Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death in their home on Chicago's South Side.

Police discovered Julian's body and the missing vehicle about 10 miles southeast of the Hudson family home.

According to law enforcement sources quoted in the Chicago Tribune Monday afternoon, King had been shot multiple times.

"We're just sad. We're going through this stage where we're just sad and in shock," Hudson's aunt, Dorothy Hudson, told the Associated Press Monday. She and her husband, John, own a Chicago funeral home that plans to handle arrangements for the family.

***Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, was found dead on the living room floor by her other daughter, Julia Hudson. Officers later discovered Hudson's brother, Jason Hudson, 29, in a bedroom.

Hudson's representative Christine Tripicchio said that "no statement from Jennifer or the family will be issued at this time, understandably."

Earlier, there were reports that one of Hudson's personal assistants named Jay called Fox News shortly after the police discovery of the body and said Hudson was "so distraught she cannot talk."

Police have not filed any charges in the murders, but they have been questioning a "person of interest," William Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, Julian King's mother and Hudson's sister. Balfour is not Julian's father.

Records from the Illinois Department of Corrections show Balfour, 27, is on parole and spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

According to their marriage license, Balfour and Julia Hudson were married on Nov. 14, 2006. Neighbors and his family members said the couple had been separated for about a year.

Balfour's mother, Michelle Davis Balfour, said Donerson had ordered Balfour to move out of the family's home last winter, according to local reports.

Girl, they was all over me earlier. I said the same thing: why wouldn't they leave, and although they never said how thier father died, I thought it was a safe bet, too that HE was gang affiliated.

I tell you; you can be from the hood, but the hood should NOT be who you are as a person. They need to shake that mentality.

I knew there had to be a reason why they didn't want to leave the hood; they were already too much a part of it to leave and didn't know how to cope in "normal" settings ie, a nice QUITE home with NO GUNSHOTS being heard.

They would have been bored out of their minds in a quite neighborhood. We already know that Julia was (her myspace page said this - not me).

How in the world can you have a sweet loving child and be Bored? That chick has serious issues. And nobody wants to believe that she know more than she's saying. Please... it was written all over her bugged out eyes during her press conference last saturday.
