Jessica Simpson Rushes Bloody BFF to Hospital

Jessica Simpson watched in shock as her BFF/hair stylist Ken Paves had his face busted open during a crazy paparazzi crush on their way out of Madeo late Saturday night.

Ken was escorting Jess out of the restaurant, when the sea of snappers swarmed -- and in the madness, one guy hit Ken near his eye with a part of a camera.

With blood trickling down his face, Ken still managed to get Jess inside their waiting ride. Their driver then whisked the group to a nearby hospital, where Jess accompanied her friend inside the building.

Calls to their reps have yet to be returned -- and as of right now no police reports have been filed.

46. I feel sorry for Ken because he should have moved on from Messica long ago. He deserves a much better client than her. Even the other guy who carries her dog gets treated better than Ken.

53. WOW scary stuff, busted open...whisked/rushed to hospital, give me and the world a break. These little twerps are a bunch of wussy drama queens who, for the sole purpose of attracting attention they crave, will dramatize the most benign occurances. Whip-de-friggin-do.....and he managed to stay conscious through all of it...LOL.

58. There is no TONY,get it NO TONY. It's over & done & that was part of her problem that night. Tony dumped it & Ken is pacifying like he usually does when Jess gets dumped. This is not a person that looks happy inside the restaurent let alone leaving in front of paps but the paps need to cool it.
